Works well for her savings needs. Very durable. bought for 7 year old granddaughter and it's standing up well.

Really works!
Cute piggy bank. Only glitch is if you are unable to put coin in on the first attempt, it will calculate it incorrectly. I like how there's a reset button.

How much is in there?
This is fantastic. Not only is it a pig ( piggy bank) it counts your money too. The counting is very accurate. Not sure how much it can hold however we are at about $20 right now and we've barely covered the bottom. It is made of durable plastic which is very convenient so it shouldn't break. Great for teenagers!

Not super accurate but very cute and sturdy
I love this product. The only problem I have with it is the accuracy. I’ve seen it count quarters as $0.50 quite a few times and a few other errors. I currently have what it says is almost $60 in coins, but it makes me wonder what I really have saved. But because it’s just for my spare change and as a fun saving tool for my son, that really doesn’t matter much to me. Just would be curious to see how much off it really is.

Not quite as advertized
Yes it is large and holds plenty of coins but to get an accurate account of coins that are deposited, you have to place one coin at a time and wait for the counter mechanism to activate. Not worth it.

My grandson loves his piggy
My 2-yr old grandson received this from me and the look of delight on his face was a joy to see. We were at a local restaurant and we showed him how to put coins in it. He spent most of the time we were there hugging it and showing it off to the waitress serving our table. She thought he was so cute that she even gave him a couple of coins to put into it. When. he got home, he wanted to sleep with it and the next day, he decorated it with some of the stickers in his collection. Not the most expensive gift we have ever given him, but considering how much he loves his piggy, worth every penny.

Cute piggy bank, worthless counter
PROS: The piggy bank is a cute little plastic bank. It can be opened at any time, coins can be removed, and it can be reused. There's no "breaking" or waste a perfectly good piggy bank. The clear aspect of it brightens my kids day when they see more and more coins filling up the bank. When it's working, the counter is accurate.CONS: The counter tends to "freeze" and reset itself showing 08888.88 across the screen. It sometimes also stops counting. The mechanism is based on width of the US coin, so of course if you're throwing foreign coins into it, it's going to be inaccurate. This is not some fancy vending machine detecting weight + width. That's the reason it bothers me that it keeps freezing and stops counting. For those having the same issue, sliding the mechanism all the way over seems to help un-freeze it... sometimes. Just make sure to credit yourself the 0.50 it will suddenly count.TL;DR: It holds coins. Coin counter only works half the time.

Cute!
This was for a birthday gift for a 3 year old. I included a small organza bag of coins from the years since she was born so that she can put them in the bank. Her mother loved the idea so I was pleased. This is my new go-to present for young kids.
