Wel Pac Lo Mein Egg Noodles, 10 Ounce (Pack of 6)

These are the best noodles I’ve found for lo mien. These are bought routinely now. Great product

I'm a fan. The texture is on point (i only boiled it for 3-4 min since I still had to cook it in sauce). It is not shaped like your common lo-mein noodles like you get from you local Chinese food take out. I care more about the taste than shape, and it captured the taste I like. (side note: add a very little of sesame oil to keep it from sticking together, use a little, unless you like your food oily) When I'm too lazy to make the sauce, i just order a side of brown sauce from my local chinese food take out, and its cheap. I wish i could find this locally to save a few bucks. Im still testing other brands, so i will update accordingly :)

I have been using this brand for years hut the stores were often out of stock. I was delighted when I found these in Amazon.

I LOVE the Wel Pac Lo Mein Noodles. I made Vegetable Chow Mein today using the noodles and they were absolutely delicious. I only boiled them for 2 minutes because I also stir fried them to make the chow mein. The noodles come in a 6 pack. However, when you open each pack, they are packaged in sets of three (3). The portions are very generous and one pack can easily serve a family of 4. When cooked, they are a nice texture and have a good flavor that works well with any Asian dish. I would buy the Wel Pac Lo Mein Noodles again without hesitation.

At a dollar per serving this costs 3 times as much as basic ramen but it has a nice tooth feel and does not get as mushy with a longer cooking/soaking period. No frying oils to become rancid so shelf life is years long. Without the kinks in typical ramen, these noodles slip off a fork or spoon easily but it is easy to adjust to this difference. These bundles also take up less shelf space in the pantry.
