Philips Bluetooth Wireless Speaker (White)

I was expecting the speaker to be of big size. But when I received the speakers, I felt very happy looking at the size of the speaker. Its small and cute.Pairing was not so difficult. Paired with my Phone, iPod and Tab. It works very good with any of these devices.Best for the price I paid. I would surely recommend to my friends.

For what it is, it's a nice speaker. Hooks up via bluetooth or direct output. I use it in the office to stream Sirius music during work. It is a nice upgrade from the computer speakers. Not a stereo, but a whole lot better than the typical radio junk that most people have on their desks.The base is ok, treble fine. It is small and doesn't fill a room. More of a nice small personal speaker for a limited area.I'm sure there is a better sound volume and quality for more money, but this one fits the bill.

I bought this speaker to replace a much cheaper model from another brand. After two days of use i am so impressed, crisp, deep, full, and loud sound when properly placed in a room. Connectivity is spot on. Easy to use and attractive. Battery life is going on about 4.5 hours since last charge. I love this speaker and will purchase another or two for my home. Guests can't believe this little speaker is producing the sound.

Excellent little speaker!Initially got it to help my wife teach music at the small Christian school where she works ( to play examples and things from her iPad ), and it's been fantastic. Has worked great, even with 15 or 20 kids singing loudly, they can still hear the music well.Also very nice around the house, of course!Haven't tested the full battery life, though it easily lasts through a whole school day, and doesn't start "flashing", indicating <20% remaining, so I'm quite satisfied so far.

The sound quality is comparable to the speaker of my IPhone... Unit broke in two month. Been trying to warranty replace it with Philips within last two weeks. Emailing back and fourth because they don't have the replacement anymore, neither the model nor color. Every time I call I got connected with India and the operators are waste of time and my nerves. Ended up offering me to wait for 20 days having old unit shipped to them and wait until they make sure that it was actually broke... LOL. What happened with customer service? Lost somewhere in India, I assume. Not buying Philips anymore...

This speaker powers itself down automatically after 10 seconds of inactivity. That is much too short. The effect of this is that I have to re-pair it with my MacBook every time! Quite often the speaker will lose the connection to my MacBook, and again, I will have to re-pair it. The sound is just fine, but this Bluetooth connectivity problem makes it very unpleasant to use.

As the other reviewers stated, it is not a Bose but is the next best thing for the price especially if you don't care too much about excessive bass. However, don't get me wrong, there is plenty of bass for the more than average music lover. Volume/loudness is great and audio is clear and crisp. It doesn't have that "cheap" hollow sound I have heard in other compact speakers. Bluetooth range is more than adequate... About 20-25 feet. USB power cord is included but no wall adapter... I use an old verizon Samsung galaxy s3 charger wall adapter and it works great. Speaker charge lasts at least 8 hours :) I am very happy with my purchase!

It's a nice, little speaker. With the emphasis on little. The sound is okay for streaming music from your phone.
