Etymotic ER38-46MC Damper Filters with Removal Tool - 4 Pack

Worked exactly as advertised.

I purchased this tool to remove the original/stock filters from my Shure SE535 IEM so I could try some of the Knowles acoustic dampers to change the sound signature of the SE535. This tool worked perfectly on the stock filters but NOT on the Knowles acoustic dampers. That's okay though as the Knowles dampers are much easier to get out of the nozzles. I'm using the wire end of a Westone ear wax removal tool to remove the Knowles dampers and it works GREAT! HIGHLY Recommended if you're thinking of trying the Knowles dampers in your SE535.

I'd set aside my earphones months ago because one speaker was crapping out. I almost tossed them into the donation box, but decided to check the web first for solutions/suggestions. Fortunately changing the filters came up. I ordered this tool and filters, and voila! As good as new! I love my earphones again.

I replaced both filters in under a minute with this tool. Great buy.

Worked really well

Periodically these filters on Etymotic earbuds have to be replaced. This is what you need to restore full volume and range. What a difference it made once done, I hadn't realized how much the sound quality had fallen-off.
