Looks like a lunch bag, but it’s not!
Like most Gator products this bag is very well-made. Tight woven material and fits the microphones perfectly. Super light and a good value for your money. It’s important to keep the things that make you money safe.

Lightweight endurable provides great protection.
I had one of these cases years ago and decided to get get rid of it, and put my shure microphone in a rack, which just created another big piece of equipment to lug around. This case fit the receiver nice and snug. Also, has a snug compartment for the microphone. I love that you can unzip the top to put the antennas up. It's just a very well designed microphone case

Perfect
I love it! Holds everything for the monitor system plus a microphone. Comes with a pouch that was perfect for my transmitter pack. Same as the shure version just more affordable.

Just Dandy...
This is a great bag for making your mic collection portable. I have 11 stage/dynamic mics in this bag... it protects them, without being too huge. No room for cables, a small outside pouch which I use for spare mic stand clips. You'll need a different bag for cables, but this was a nice upgrade from my old six-mic-plus-cables bag (some generic music store thing). There's a decent bit of quality here for the price... I have some Gator road cases, same deal. Holes might be a bit tight if you wanted to put a bunch of studio condenser or ribbon mics in the bag. But you shouldn't be taking those to a gig anyway.. they will be destroyed. I have a second bag with the pricey mics in it, and that travels to on-site recording sessions, but doesn't go to performances. You should do the same, at least if you want to be taken seriously as a microphone geek. If you just have one of those special deals on a case of SM57s and SM58s, you can probably just keep those in the brown shopping bag you're using today.. you're clearly not cool enough for this bag.

Could have been great, but still gets there with some minor home modifications to foam.
Nice, sturdy, and compact hardshell case for compatibly shaped and sized mics only. Small footprint makes it easy to pack in with other equipment, but leaves no room for cables, although you could fit a few spare mic clips into the factory pre-cut spaces if you didn't need all six for mics. The factory pre-cut spaces are just a bit short for my 7.0" long off-brand SM-58 look-alikes. Foam is soft enough that I can easily press the mics into it so they fit, but that reduces the already barely sufficient uncompressed 5/8" foam width at the ends of the mic cutouts. The foam layer at the bottom of the cutouts is worthless, so you will want to add some additional scrap foam (such as the green stuff in my pictures) to beef that up a bit and cradle the mics better. There's plenty of soft foam thickness in the top of the case, so I made my added foam inserts pretty thick, and let the windscreen ball compress into the top foam a bit (you can see the resulting indentations in the photos). With minor modifications as mentioned, this is a great case for it's specific, limited, intended purpose of carrying 6 SM-58 style mics. Lost one star because of narrow perimeter foam width, and the almost non-existent foam thickness at bottom of cutouts. If they had built this with four equally thick layers of foam with matching cutouts in the two center layers and two nice, thick outer layers, and made it just a bit taller to increase perimeter foam width at ends of mics, this would have gotten five stars no problem. Although nice and small for transporting or packing in with your other gear, be aware that its small size also makes it an easy target for someone to pick up and stick under a jacket, so keep an eye on it during set up and tear down, or your six expensive mics might easily disappear out the door.

A perfect six pack
This is a perfect case if you have six SM58 mics or ones of a similar shape. If you put the foam windscreens on your mics, they will still fit in this case, and the windscreens offer a little extra protection on the bottom where it is a tad thin, but the mics lay in there held up by the ball end, and only a tiny bit of the base touches the bottom. It is a little tight with all six in place with windscreens on, but they are secure, and the top closes easily enough, and the latches and the handle and the exterior all seem built to last. The Gator logo lets you know which side is up, if you had any doubts. If you have some other configuration of microphones, or a different number than six, this may need some adaptation, but we use four regularly, and have two for backups or to add one if necessary. Before we were using one of the Vault cases, with some other stuff in there to take up the extra space, but this is far superior. Couldn't be better for our use.

I did extensive research on this bag in advance as it is to fit my Sennheiser EWD radio mic system. I have been using it for several months and my system stays inside the case in use. I can fold down each side and it keeps my receiver safe from being knocked at the side of the stage. There is a space big enough to hold my microphone and I also keep spare batteries, my power supply and some spare microphone capsules but there isn’t much room for anything else in there. You do also have to be a little bit careful that you don’t lose anything which is loose in there because it is open in use it’s been fantastic for me to use and much easier than carrying a hard case around it is a sturdy bag and worth every penny in my opinion.
