Intertape Fire Fly Glow in the Dark Duct Tape, 2" x 10 yd, Plain FF30

I decided to get this because I really wanted a simple solution to add some visual flare to a project I'm working on.The reviews for this are pretty mixed in regard to the strength of the glow the tape provides, and that is not without reason apparently.The tape does glow, just not very bright at all. I'm considering other solutions for the effect I want, but this will suffice if I don't come up with anything better. Who's to say that a different shipment would glow more or less, based on some of the reviews you might get lucky, but don't get your expectations too high for this one.

The product did glow in the dark but was not as bright as the duck tape brand glow in the dark tape. We used the item on clothing to make a bunch of our youth look like stick people while doing a "Harlem Shake" dance for a talent show. The tape did stick ok- not so well to jeans but fine to sweats. This product was significantly cheaper but its effect was not as good. We did lay all of our clothes out with tape on them for 1 hour prior to let the tape absorb light.

Bad product can't hold glow, in fact, even in pitch black not visible. Even after being exposed to bright lights for hours, no visible.

I bought this to go along with my glow tent stakes and glow rope to prevent my kids from tripping over the tie downs on our cabin style tent. We put on the outside doors to mark where the zipper should be to make getting in and out a bit simpler. This made for much less fumble to find the zippers in the dark. The glow is very subtle and fades quickly compared to the rope and stakes.

Does not charge in natural light to glow. Not worth sending back for a refund, so will use it as normal duct tape and will not purchase again. It should state in the description that it only works indoors, not outdoor. I wanted to use this for deck stairs, but cannot do so, so was not good for what I had intended it for.

I got this tape to make duct tape flowers out of (bought the other kind also-striped glow int he dark). It was a dud. When I tested it at home it seemed to glow int he closet, but the bouquet I made for a bride (river guide getting married on an expedition trip) didn't glow at all. Very disappointing. If I had known I would have just used regular duct tape as they come in many beautiful colors. For something that you want to glow at a night time party, or other activity outside, I would save your money. This tape doesn't work.

I've not actually *seen* this tape glow in the dark yet. It could be because it needs more direct light to charge, but I was hoping it'd be a bit more sensitive to light. Really sticky though so does what duct-tape is meant to do!

It looks great when it does glow though! That's why I gave it 3 stars. It also sticks ok too. If you're buying this for a long-lasting glow product though, don't waste your money.
