VOICELIVE 3 EXTREME Unrivaled Vocal and Guitar Effects Performance Floor Pedal with Backing Tracks, Looping, Automation and Audio Recording

I really cannot say enough good things about this unit. The guitar tones that can be produced from this thing are just terrific. I have had this for a few months now and I'm still finding new ways to use it. I play out using backing tracks, and being able to automate the changes of vocals and guitar effects is amazing! Not to mention, now my backing tracks are right in my processor, at my feet. That means one less thing to carry around. I filled in on vocals, with a friends band last week. I set up a few patches for specific vocal tones: Rocky Mountain Way, and Gimme Three steps, turned out awesome. I then set up a versatile channel, with reverb, a slap back delay, and a doubling effect. I used the tap function to control the delay as needed. It sounded great. My only gripe about this thing is that it lacks a couple of effects that just boggled my mind. The expression pedal cannot be used as a whammy pedal. In other words no control of guitar pitch via expression pedal. And secondly, what I felt was the most ridiculous thing to leave off of a guitar processor; THERE IS NO PHASER EFFECT. Probably the second most used modulation effect in guitar history, and it's not on there... That was almost enough for me to give it four stars instead of five. However, given all of the other things it can do and the ability to tweek flangers, chorus, or rotary effects to get close to a phaser sound,I was able to overlook that. I have encountered some tracking issues when playing chords using the octaver effect. However I play a Peavey AT-200 which is an auto tune guitar (Highly recommended also.) and there is a chance that the signal from the Peavey might be confusing the processor. (I doubt that that's the case but it could be.) However, I seldom use an octaver and when I do it's for soloing and I had no problems with it in that regard, so no biggie to me. So, over all, I am very happy with this product. It does everything I need it to do and does it very well. There is a bit of a learning curve to it, it dose a lot of stuff. Also tones are not broken down into Hi, Mid, and Low, but by frequencies. So if you don't have patients for taking the time to read and learn how to work your equipment, then this might not be for you. Otherwise, you're gonna love it!

Excellent product which is typical of all of TC Helicon's equipment. Voice Live 3 Extreme brings upgrades to the 3 version which makes it an even more exciting pedal to perform with.

Update: after less than 3 months the unit won't power on. Amazon won't return and I have to contact the seller. I will update again with their response. If you want support, better get on YouTube and try to sort through the incorrect information because support through the company is useless. They preload the unit with a bunch of presets based on old songs/bands that no one wants instead of letting you add the tracks you want. Unit needs an update right out of the box and after several tries and after contacting support and also doing my own research, I can't even get it to do that. I have tried to upload backing tracks, the main reason I bought the unit but that has not happened either. The voice functions are not at all intuitive and the harmony function, well, sucks. I'm close to returning the unit as I already own a paperweight and it's not heavy enough to use as a boat anchor.

This must be my 7th unit from the brand ...still to this day unrivalled vocal effects pedal... literally the best on the market .. it is permanent part of my mic set up as a lead vocalist . .. the harmonies and vocal capabilities are unmatched...it will take some getting used to there are lots of parameters...but still unrivaled

The VLX3 sounds amazing! Overall easy to use with lots of attention to quality effects. It has one fundamental flaw, there is no Setlist feature where you can enter a list of your songs, order them, add effects presets to each part of the song. Instead you have to find a preset you like, them modify it into the Song, adding "steps" that reference other presets. It's unclear if you later modify those presets into "Songs" if it will then mess with the use of that Preset in a different song's steps. See what I mean? This is fundamental to all song based music and it's hard to believe they missed this. Will continue to study, but a button that said Songlist on the UI by the scroll wheel would have been easy to do. Was going to return the product just for this reason, but C0vid-19 got me locked inside long enough to fall in love with the sounds. Most likely use it on recordings, but playing it Live without a Setlist seems pointless.

I LOVE this pedal. It has so many features and I love the different harmony patches. If you sing on pitch and play your chords right on the guitar it works great. I am very happy.

I bought it 1 week back , at power up screen goes white and it is not working., there'shnical support from amazon or TC Helicon to resolve

Es una excelente pieza de hardware, tardé un poco en probarla por falta de tiempo, pero estoy muy satisfecho con la compra, el sonido es nítido, la voz se escucha super clara, la sección de efectos es increíble, existen diversos parámetros editables para obtener el Efecto deseado, se puede emular mas o menos de manera precisa la producción vocal de estudio para una presentación en directo, la opción de automatizar una presentación es una gran adición para un pedal de estas características. Para aquellos cantantes y guitarristas que estén buscado escalar en calidad de efectos les recomiendo que consideren seriamente este pedal.
