Louisiana Sauce Hot, 12 oz

I just love having a variety of hot sauces in the cabinet. And this is one of my favorites. The taste is really good and the price is definitely fair. I'll use a little on top of mac and cheese and chili, it just seems to go together. I highly recommend the Louisiana brand, so give it a try, you won't regret it.

Good brand, taste great

I think I have 8 bottles of hot sauce in my pantry right now. I'm a hound for the stuff and have to keep multiple types from multiple peppers around all the time. Find me something fancy at a food show or a new label on the shelf that says ghost peppers or something and I pick it up right away. And here's this bargain sauce you can find in any grocery store (at least where I am) and I won't go without it. LOL! I can't get over that I miss it if I run out. There are so many things it's perfect for because it's got a great kick, but is not so overwhelming that you lose all the background flavors. Example, this is my favorite for dousing a burrito because the background flavors that come out after the heat starts to fade are better with that burrito than all my fancy pants stuff. So, I know there are a lot of reviews saying this is your best bang for the buck or it's high quality "for the price." That's true. But it's also classic Louisiana, authentic, and would be great sauce at a couple bucks more. So if you're a sauce snob, try it anyway. I think the people complaining about consistency or it being all vinegar simply didn't know to shake the bottle well. All the good parts settle on the shelf.

I will start off by saying this..Louisiana has been a staple in "our" families for a long time. It was perfect for fried chicken, greens and everything in between. A little bit went a long way. Its still good! The bottle is a good size. The only difference I've noticed is that it isn't as thick. It's pretty runny so don't be heavy handed on the pour. There's nothing like a dish with too much hot sauce. Its overpowering! I would recommend this for anyone that likes a fair amount of heat, flavor and salt with their food.
