I loved the book but was disappointed she didn't get the $10M on Delgado's head to fund the school! It would have been poetic justice!

Most of this book was OK but not at the level of the earlier books. As always the characters are great. But it spent too much time futsting around. The last quarter of the book was very high energy and fun. So it was worth the time.

One of the best parts of a series is watching the characters change and grow. Kendra still has some more growing up to do, but I can see the seeds of learning to compromise in this book, which is, by far, the best to date. She still goes off headstrong, doing what she wants to do without taking her safety to mind, since she has a “it’s broad daylight, people are around, what can possibly go wrong” attitude. Her passion for justice is admirable; it just needs to be tempered with more careful, analytical thought before she leaps headlong into danger. I have to admit, sometimes I’d like to shake her! Poor Lynch tries to counsel her and protect her, plus he takes the brunt of her anger. The chemistry and tension between the two is extremely well done. Her skill for seeing more than the average person moves the investigation along faster than would usually happen, and Lynch is by her side as much as she’ll let him.I love this mother and son collaboration. Both are skilled writers with the ability to pull readers into exciting worlds of danger. They have many stand-alone books and series, all of which are worth the time to read. I may not have all of their books yet, but I’m working on it.

These books are just amazing. I love how they honestly make me laugh so hard the tears come to my face and yet so riveting that you cannot put it down. It just makes me want to read more and more…..I should go to bed but just have to read one more chapter. Great series!!!

So good but so unrealistic. Loved it anyway. Liked these characters and the plot of this book. Kendra is one of my favorites. Can't wait to see where the relationship with Lynch goes. Looking forward to reading the next installment.

cant stop reding her seris lots of action and plot twist that i dont expected.have to buy the next one riight when it comes out .also hook on the charcters they have in the ellery adams series books by the bay the book and scones

The Kendra Michaels Series has always been one of my favourite reads and this one was a non-stop mind-blowing amazing read. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. It was totally captivating. Excellent read

I didn’t find this story particularly interesting. Could put it down easily as it did not hold my interest.

This book takes the reader on an exciting journey with plenty of edge of your seat suspense. I hope the interactions and tensions between Kendra and Lynch strengthen.

I waited eagerly for the next book in the series. Not going to be in any hurry to read the next and have been a fan for years.
