This is my second purchase of an Invictawatch, my first being the Invicta Men's 8935 Pro ...
This is my second purchase of an Invicta watch, my first being the Invicta Men's 8935 Pro Diver. I like watches and never spent more than $35-$65 per watch 2~3x a year. I was introduced to these beautiful watches while on a Caribbean cruise, but they were in the $225-$350 price range. My ultimate goal, of course was to own a Rolex, the creme de la creme of watches. But when I saw I could get one of these beauties in my price range, I jumped at the chance. A year later, I purchased this watch, the 3644. It too is a beauty. I love the look and weight of these watches. They feel just like a Rolex and are very similar in design and attention to detail. I no longer desire for a Rolex, especially since I can get the same quality in my opinion, with Invicta's selection. With my first watch, everyone has assumed it was a Rolex from a distance. When asked, I correct them and say no, its an Invicta and let them hold it. When I see others with Invictas, and they recognize my watch, it becomes a talking point a time with a new acquaintance. I purchase a lot of products on Amazon. Some of those products are free, some are at a discounted price, and others are full price purchases. I will always note when a product is free or discounted. I have listed my rating system below as a reference. My personal guidelines for reviewing products: 5 stars – I love the product! Not only would I buy it again I would recommend it to friends and family. 4 stars – I like it, and I would buy it again. I would prefer a few minor tweaks but overall still a great product. 3 stars - It was okay, but perhaps not for me. I would still consider the product as a gift for others. 2 stars – The product could use improvement and I would not buy it again until it was fixed. 1 star – I dislike the product and I would not purchase it for myself or as a gift for others.

Nice looking watch overall
While I have only had it a few days, my first impression is that it's a beautiful watch. It is heavy as far as the actual watch. Some have noted that the band itself feels cheap, and there is a cheap feel to it, but it doesn't really take away from the overall quality. Setting the time is tricky, or at least it was for me. This was my first diver, so I didn't realize that you have to unscrew the pin to pop it out and set time and date. That was fairly easy, but getting it screwed back in was a bit of a different story. You have to do it a little like a prescription bottle and apply pressure while you screw it back in. It took me a couple of tries, but it finally caught and screwed back in. Not that I'm worried about the warranty, as I don't plan on showering or swimming with it, but if you don't get it screwed back on and it gets wet, it voids the warranty. Note that the band is made for Thor. I literally had to take out I think 4 links and move the clasp spring to get the right fit. But I have small wrists, so I kind of expected it. The face itself is smaller than expected and I'm glad for that. I love that the clasp has an extra clasp to hold it in place but I forget and try and yank it before opening that one up. The color itself is beautiful. My lighting was from regular light bulbs so it doesn't stand out but I would imagine it will in brighter light. The blue is a very nice deep blue and the gold contrasts with it. If it stands up to time, I'm hoping it will remain this way, but we'll have to see. Overall, a good purchase for the price.

Buy this watch, but know what you'll get
This watch is almost exactly like the Rolex Daytona. I guess that's the whole deal. It's a great watch, looks just like a Daytona, same size, same weight, the fit and finish is really good, the accuracy of the timing is better than the Rolex (I've owned a Rolex) but in the end it isn't a Rolex Daytona. On the downside, the stopwatch dials are useless. The minute hand is just that, and doesn't function as a stopwatch, which makes the outer dial useless. This watch is all about how it looks, and it looks great, feels great, really impressive for the price. From five feet away no one will know it isn't a Rolex. But you will know. I'm fine with that. The equivalent Rolex would cost you $15,000. You could have 200 of these for the price of a Rolex. If you're comfortable wearing a replica of the Rolex and you don't mind the lack of stopwatch functions, buy this watch. I've done the expensive watch thing, I'm over it. I like this watch and I'm not embarrassed wearing it.

BEAUTIFUL watch for less than $50 UPDATE-Pretty good battery life!
Solid, beautiful, accurate. The band was easy to re-size using a watch tool kit also purchased from Amazon. The face has an interesting texture that doesn't really show well in the pictures, and the 40mm case is perfect for my large wrist. This is my 2nd Invicta watch.....I selected this one because, while it has the date function, it does not have the "cyclops" magnifier. My experience with the cyclops has been bad, the magnifier is made of glass, and scratches easily in use. MUCH better to not have it on the crystal! Minor quibble: the packaging was all original and untouched, but the instruction pamphlet was not included. UPDATE: Just replaced the original battery, which lasted 1-1/2 years, pretty good battery life, considering that the watch may have sat in inventory using up battery life for who knows how long. I used the same tool kit from Amazon to split the watch band, mount the case in the vise, unscrew the back, and replace the battery....the process took about 3 minutes !!!

Good value for the price.
This watch is nice, looks good, and certainly is an eye catcher. So far it is working well and keeping excellent time. The watch itself has a nice feel and looks more expensive than it really is. The bracelet has a cheap feel about it. This is my second Invicta watch and the band on this one is much less substantial than my other Invicta. For a chronograph the functions are a little different with the second hand function being done by the larger (main) second hand and not one of the smaller dials. Not a drawback just a bit different. The chronograph works well. For the money not a bad watch. It's certainly not a top end watch but is very nice for a cheaper watch. The only problem I had was the time it took to arrive. Almost four weeks from the USA to Australia. That was a bit slow in my view.

Looks almost identical to my $18,000 Rolex Daytona.
“A picture is worth a thousand words”. Here’s a side by side photo of my Invicta Speedway and my vintage Rolex Daytona 18k Gold & Steel/Slate Dial. My Rolex was recently insurance appraised at $18,000. I proudly wear both watches, and have actually received more complements on the Invicta! Most of my friends just assume my Invicta Speedway is a genuine Rolex Daytona. The Invicta also has a very similar weight on my wrist. I generally travel with my Invicta Speedway for peace of mind, in case someone breaks into my hotel room or AirBNB. I would certainly recommend this watch, for anyone who is looking for a that classic, elegant, vintage Rolex appearance! Invicta offers a sophisticated look and feel, at a very affordable price point!

It looks swell and let's face it, that's what's important! Also, some helpful sizing tips.
My 17 year old hipster son loves it! It's big and chunky and looks rather impressive. I don't know what all of dials do and how to work them and he probably doesn't either. And I seriously doubt that he'll ever go diving in it - even in a pool. But let's be frank, it's all about the way it looks on his arm. Hey, it's just cool that he'll use something with an actual dial on it instead of his cell phone to tell time (and it does seem to keep time very well, which is good since it's a watch......). Did I mention that that it looks good? You will probably need to size it though. I've done jewelry repair for a number of years and thus have a lot of tools. I still had to watch a couple of YouTube videos to figure out how to remove the links in Invicta watches. It is probably something you can do yourself without going to a jeweler and you shouldn't have to have specific watch tools. Honestly, I personally wouldn't buy the cheapie watch tools in the blue cases that are sold on Amazon and other sites. They are very, very poor quality and will bend and break trying to get the pins out. I tried it. You are better off getting some jeweler's screwdrivers and a small hammer from the dollar store. Something very important to know - Make sure that you pay attention to the arrows to on the band to show you which direction to remove the pins in the links! It doesn't work too well if you don't. The first YouTube video I watched never mentioned that.....
