Does the job
Bought for a Hotpoint double oven grill. The element is a different pattern from the original it replaced and rated at 2660W rather than 2600 W, but it fits ok and works ok.

So easy to fit!
I got a friend trained electrician to put this in as I thought it might be too big a job for me although I am very handy. He had it in up and running within 10 minutes and he was happy to show me what to do. I would be happy next time to fit it myself. Always ensure you have the electic to any electrical appliance you are working on turned off at the mains. Once the grill was in place it was working fully with it being both able to use one side only or both at any temperature. It fits tight to the top of the grill unit and after a year of only having one side glad to have it working again for such a good price. Would definitely recommend getting parts for equipment so much more cost effective, give it a go.

Perfect fit + Fitting guide
Bought this to replace the drooping grill element in a Hotpoint HAE60PS (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/customer-reviews/R2JPCMF07XQI50).Wasn’t sure if this element would fit given it’s always a lottery ordering replacement parts for a product which is no longer in production. At just under £16 it was a risk I was willing to take because the cooker was being given to a friend and I wanted it all working fine. Worked out well because the element turned out to be identical in every way.CHANGING THE ELEMENTBack then I couldn’t find a video on how to replace it so this is how I did it. If you are undertaking this task then I would suggest you follow the steps below. Luckily the grill element can be changed without having to remove the cooker’s back panel and can be done in about 5-10 mins.• Turn off power to cooker.• Pull out the grill shelve and tray.• From inside the grill, undo the two screws holding the element to the rear panel.• Pull the element about two inches towards you and then tightly plug the holes (I used tissue) where the wires are coming through the rear panel. Those four wires will be under tension so failure to plug them could potentially see them retract back into the hole, something you’ll need to remove the oven rear panel to recover.• Pull the four crimp connectors away from the old element and then remove it. If they are tight then jiggle them sideways whilst pulling. Remember to note where each wire goes.• Slide each of the four crimp connectors firmly onto the new element and then double check the wires are in the their correct positions.• Remove whatever you used to plug the holes and offer up the new element. Do this by ensuring the wires and backplate holding the screws are in position first. Once that is done push the element upwards to engage the side lugs to the grill walls. Do this by putting your fingers on the steel bar, NOT on the element itself.• Insert the two screws holding the element to the rear panel.• Turn on power to cooker.• All Done!
