Really easy to set up and look fantastic. No wiring or mains electricity required as it's solar powered. Lights have a variety of modes that all look fantastic. Simple to operate, two buttons on solar panel, one for on/off and one to cycle the different light modes. Lights are a good length and have plenty of bulbs, look really good in the garden. The plastic stand comes in two parts that quickly click together and then hold up the solar panel. Make sure the panel is positioned so that it can get as much sunlight as possible. These lights can be used indoors and outdoors, they make a great addition to any garden all year round or could always be used as a seasonal decoration. A really high quality product, really pleased with them.

Very nice lights. Bought three sets over a couple years. The first one seems to have died after about 2/3 years. The second had lights die randomly in the middle after a few months (which was given as a gift), and the third is currently going strong after a few months. They do look really good when on and if the box is in a sunny position, the charge lasts a long time.

I've strung these up in the pergola and they provide an attractive and warm look without being over the top. The low light emitted isn't enough to provide significant illumination - you won't be able to rely on them to actually light up an area - but they do create a nice ambience in which to chill out in the evening. Easy to set up - just unravel, fix in place and you're away. There are a few different effects - flashing, slow glow, steady on etc. but the latter is probably the best as the others will become annoying. Waterproofing seems adequate. For the price you cannot go wrong! The lights are fairly small and a soft white - not the brightest I have ever seen but perfectly ok. The solar panal / control unit seems well made and is very easy to use. Because of lack of daylight / sunlight, we left the solar panel on a window cill for a couple of days to charge up. Works a treat with eight different modes. The solar panel can be ground spike mounted 9 supplied 0 or wall mounted. One thing the manual does not tell you is that the control unit comes with a light sensor, so if you try and use it in daylight, nothing happens, but cover the unit with your hand and all works well. Just stops the battery going flat!

Easy to set up and works as expected - the lights did not seem to come on until it was darker/dark enough. There does not seem to be a continuous light "on" setting, so all of the lights flash with the different modes. Would prefer if there was a setting when they were just on continuously - not sure if this is just the ones I got though. Worked nicely for decorating a tent.

Updated September 2020. The lights have stopped switching on after 8 months use. I messaged the seller for a replacement/repair under their quoted 12 month 'worry free warranty' as advertised above, they responded initially asking for a photo of the lights and then completely stopped responding. As such the 12 month warranty that they offer is completely worthless and Amazon shouldn’t supply them. Don’t buy. ...... I was a little disappointed with these. They feel decent quality and look quite nice - the lights are small, a large marble rather than the golf ball size I’ve seen some reviews quoting - don’t know what weird golf balls you’re using folks! Basically they are a bit weak. The light from them isn’t strong and they die after about 3hrs on constant. The lights live on my balcony on a 6th floor south facing aspect with uninterrupted view of the sky, the solar panel literally couldn’t have it better but it just doesn’t seem to generate enough power during the day. Admittedly it’s the UK winter so the sun isn’t super strong but the performance just isn’t there.

Long lasting , bright very effective along the top of the fence line, can go on a pergola, hang on the roof line of a garden room very attractive still bright in October a year later, does give a shorter stay of power in the duller days of Winter but sunny days still great still bright (solar powered)

A white plastic bulb, that doesn’t look the best on arrival, but once they are lit they look good. Very bright, at first stayed on all night, even to 6am in the morning. Sadly only last 4 months. Would buy again, at the £10 price, wouldn’t pay more due to life span. Otherwise excellent lights, lots of different modes, if your happy to accept the life span for the price, then they are worth the buy.
