XT SL-M8100 12-Speed Shifter, Black

I purchased this to upgrade from a 6100 series shifter. What I immediately noticed is that the shifter was much stiffer than the 6100 series. After using for a short time I noticed my hand was getting strained from pushing so hard to shift the gears. I thought that upgrading to a XT shifter would be much nicer than the Deore.

This item was my update to my SRAM 12 speed derailleur. I guess I was first introduced to Shimano and always liked the shifting with finders and thumbs. It is very smooth and I like the Shimano push two gear changes up. Easy to install and came with the full length cable and housing.

I love extra click to down shift twice, use it constantly.I also love the trigger shift option! Don’t need to move the thumb to down shift.
