The media could not be loaded. I bought this scale to monitor weight changes in my cats (I have a total of 7), specifically one senior cat who is no longer on a diet but continues to lose weight. This scale is perfect & super easy to use straight out of the box. The weighing deck is built into the stand so as long as you have a level surface (like your kitchen table) it is stable (tip proof & slide proof) and there is nothing to assemble, calibrate, test, or log into. Simply insert the pair of AA batteries that are included into its compartment, set your weight measuring option (oz, lb, or kg) depending on your preference or application and power on (Tare)! Weighing has been a breeze. Once on, wait for the display to set to zeros, add a few kitty treats, then place your cat on the surface & read the display. It can give you up to 3 decimal place accuracy depending on weight measurement option used. The weighing deck is a decent size and able to support my dog at 27.64 pounds (so small dogs & animals works fine)! *If you need to get an animal to ‘sit still’ long enough for their weight to register and they are food motivated… just add a treat or two to the deck!Recently, I have come to love having the ‘hold’ button feature. I haven’t had much occasion to use it, but learning to has been fun and it could come in handy for the pet you may need to restrain in a towel or its carrier. Anyway, this is where you would weigh the towel or cat carrier empty using ‘hold’ to freeze the weight, then weigh the cat secured in towel or the carrier, and the scale will automatically “subtract” the carrier/towel weight (hold weight) displaying only the weight of the cat. The first weight or ‘hold’ weight is the weight that is subtracted. This could come in handy for other applications and in weighing things around the house (not to exceed the 44 lb max) which is what I did originally, to test the feature.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The scale is modern looking, easy to use, accurate, BPA free and affordable. It’s easy to maintain as well as clean. It is also the same scale used at my pets animal hospital so I feel confident in the accuracy of the readout. It’s not big or bulky, but I don’t have the space to keep it out all the time, so when not in use I store it in its carry box in the closet. As for durability, only time will tell. As always will update of any changes. 5 Stars and I highly recommend!!!

I got this scale to weigh my cat, and it works great. Very accurate, easy to read numbers, and simple to use. It’s stable and doesn’t scare the pet, which I really appreciate. I didn’t test it with a baby, but for pets it’s amazing. Happy with the purchase!

Have this for a while now! Worked from newborn or even now, (1.5y) and even further. Works for our cat too! Scale seems pretty accurate. Looks just like photo. Over 21’ long. Has a hold feature for wiggly littles!

As a first time mom, I was desperate for a scale to make sure my baby was gaining weight in between doctor's appointments. I find it to be accurate and very easy to use. My only complaint is I wish it were softer or easier to use with my baby. It seems very small so I worry he will outgrow this quickly

Just right for our 17-lb terrier. The scale tares to zero easily and is solid enough that our dog was comfortable standing on it. Nice value.

I am not sure about the baseline accuracy of this scale, however I am overall satisfied. I weighed a 5 lb hand weight and it says that it is 5.04lbs. That translates to 5 lbs and 0.64 ounces as it only weighs in lbs and tenths of a pound on the pound setting. I also weighed the same 5 lb hand weight on my kitchen scale and it says 5 lbs and 0.012 ounces. So it appears that the kitchen scale is more accurate. I purchased to track weight gain and loss for my cats, so despite the baseline accuracy issue, it does the job and I am not going to return. I like the fact that it is a solid base that sits flush to it's surface rather than coming in parts that put together like other models. Only 4 stars due to the baseline accuracy issue, and the fact that it doesn't weigh in pounds and ounces. Just keep this in mind prior to purchase. Works well for pets who don't want to sit still due to "hold" function.Update 4/13/2025 still works as good as new. I still monitor my cat's weight using this scale. Due to longevity of the item I have changed my rating to 5 stars.
