Great tires!
These tires lasted over 2 years with everyday driving (longer than that because they were used on the vehicle when I purchased the vehicle). Buying them again!

Off to a Great Start with Pirelli Scorpion P255/70R18 112S M+S
Bought 4 of these tires at AV Ford, Lancaster, CA, for my 2006 Lincoln Navigator. I brought a spray bottle of Aerospace 303 Protectant and asked the QuickLane Shop to bring the uninstalled tires out to me. I then wiped each tire, including the bead, with Aerospace 303, which cleaned the tires, brought out a new sheen of black, and most importantly, provided initial chemical protection against UV radiation in the desert. Very nice of the dealer to let me do this prior to installation, as I'll never have a 2nd chance to prepare these "new" tires, especially on the inside mounted sidewalls and the bead lines. The tires had been stored on their sides, and the shape was thus altered such that the inside and outside bead lines had "set" well towards the middle of the tire width... so much so that the dealer could not get the tires to inflate on the wheels. They had to deliver my wheels and new tires to an outside source that had the offset installation equipment required to mount the tires. But, it got done. The tires look great. I had the white lettering and balance weights put on the inside of the rims. Plus, the dealer had a special going on... buy two and get two free. The tires cost $184.95 each ($369.90 total), plus a tire tax ($7.00), Tire Disposal Fee ($14.00) and labor of ($30.00) for an "Out the Door" price for 4 tires of $420.90.So, I pull out of the Dealers Lot for the 20-minute drive home. I wanted to see if the tire balance was done correctly, which meant I wanted to accelerate to at least 70mph. I was first in line at a red light, the traffic ahead was now 3/4 of a mile away, the road totally dry, so when the light turned green, I punched it! No squeal, very positive road grip, the Lincoln lurched forward as if we were going down the Grapevine. I shot to exactly 70 mph with easy room to spare relative to the traffic ahead (the tires were perfectly balanced), backed down towards the posted 45 mph speed limit, when the Motorcycle Police Officer came up behind with his lights flashing.Well, we had a conversation (after I gave him my License) that went something like... "You were going 70 in a 45 zone. Why?" Pointing to the front and rear tires, I explained that I had just bought these within the last 15 minutes and was checking them for the first time for balance. He asked, "You involved with NASCAR or, a fan of NASCAR?" "No Sir", I replied. "You do something associated with high speed?", he asked. "Yes, Sir... I'm a Test Pilot." He handed back my License, explaining that he sometimes does the same thing, and asked me to be careful. Only a warning! And I was prepared to lose the money saved on these Pirelli Tires to a traffic ticket! So, with a total of 8 miles on my beautiful new Pirelli Scorpion STR(A) P255/70R18 112S M+S tires, I am completely satisfied. Not only do they look and perform great on a Lincoln, they are lucky charms, that little Scorpion molded into the sidewalls protecting wayward owners who believe in them!
