Final Fantasy X X-2 HD Remaster Standard Edition Playstation 4

If you're a fan of Final Fantasy or JRPG's in general, you're doing yourself a disservice by not playing this game.In my opinion, FFX is one of the best games out there; not only does it have a memorable cast of characters and a gripping plot, but the world of Spira is probably one of the most fleshed-out settings that I've ever experienced, filled to the brim with its own lore and carefully crafted details. FFX-2, while it certainly has its quirks, has one of the coolest and most complete battle systems out of all of the Final Fantasies.To put it simply, you're getting two great games for a reasonable price, complete with updated graphics and a remastered soundtrack. The bugs that people mentioned in earlier reviews have been nullified with a recent patch, easily making the PS4 remaster the definitive version of FFX & FFX-2.

What a fantastic way to revisit an old PS2 Classic! I still remember borrowing FFX from a friend back in elementary school and playing it for the first time. It was only my second time playing a Final Fantasy game, with most of my prior knowledge of Square Enix titles coming from the Kingdom Hearts series (KHI and II are some of my all-time favorite games).FFX/X-2 HD is fantastic because it lets you experience the world of Spira again in wonderful HD. The game looks dated, but its charms are timeless. The game is still beautiful and its the addictive gameplay we all have come to know and love. If you've never played FFX before, now is the perfect time to jump in.Pros:+ Allows you to choose between the Classic and Remastered soundtrack (you can swap anytime!)+ Expert sphere grid from the international version is an option -- also there are multiple optional bosses added+ Wonderful compilation of all things FFX+ Bugs from release have been fixed (music and RNG bugs)Cons:- Some of the remastering is off. The faces during certain conversations aren't as 'remastered' as others.

I loved this game SO much as a child. And was so excited to see that I could get in on ps4. The remastered stuff is great, the characters and enemies all look enhanced and more detailed, some better looking than others, but still great. you can choose to do "Expert mode" for the grid system, which has less locks on it, so you can go into anyone's area that you want right from the beginning. And you also have the option for the original soundtrack or the revised one. I chose the revised soundtrack, it is beautiful. Still the same songs, just done a little differently with more to them. I miss the original music just a little bit though, since that is so reminiscent of my childhood.I have yet to try X2 but I have always heard that it's not too great. But I shall try it anyway! I would have bought this even if it was only X, because I love it so much.

Okay, if you haven't played this game, you're missing out on life.I remember the original on PS2. It was seriously, my all time favorite freaking game. It made me laugh, it made me cry, I loved the fighting sequence, I loved the chocobos, I loved Tidus and Yuna.And with the remastered soundtrack? OH MY GOSH. Brilliant.The longest part of the game though, would be the monster arena, but YOU GOTTA DO IT. All the awesome items you get from there, and the cool things you can do with aeons and weapons with those things!Seriously, I haven't loved Final Fantasy as much as I had with this one.X-2 was kinda sketchy though, and yuna turned into a tramp with her clothing choices, but meh thats besides the point.The only good thing about X-2 was the ending.Which YOU GET TO CHOOSE IT.that's kinda cool I guess.Final Fantasy X though?Ugh, amazing.

When you order older games you have to worry about 1 price and 2 are you really getting a new/quality copy. With this seller I didn’t have to worry about either, the price was fair/affordable m, and the copy I received was brand new! I would highly recommend this company if you’re In the market for video games.

FFX is my all-time favorite game. I have it and FFX-2 on all platforms. I love how you can chooses the original soundtrack as I was not a fan of the remix. I have yet to get all the trophies, but this game is and will remain my favorite. I love the game play and the story. I have literally logged thousands of hours on this game. I played it through numerous times on the PS2 and once on the PS3. Working slowly on the PS4 (playing in between newer games) I have gotten all the celestial weapons, all the aeons, and filled the sphere grid every time I have played through. When I am bored and don't know what to play I'll throw this on andnpkay itnfor weeks at a time. Newer gamers might find turn based games a little boring, but its just right for me. Only downside was I didn't get the booklet in my new unused game......
