Whirlpool WP3951769 Timer-Washer, No Color

Not much to say. Easy installation. It works. Seems to be a genuine part, not a knock-off.

We had ordered one of the cheaper off-brand timers for our 25-year old Kenmore washer, but it didn't fix the problem. We then tried to order a remanufactured one directly from Sears, but after getting the runaround for over 3 weeks, we finally cancelled that order and ordered this one. It was easy to install and worked perfectly from the beginning. So thankful that we ordered this one.

Although the first timer that was delivered didn't work properly (timer didn't advance), the replacement was delivered just 2 days after putting in the request. This one works fine. Impressed with the excellent customer service. Thank you.

This appears to be the genuine article, coming in a box that says "Whirlpool Corporation Factory Certified Parts". Like the original, it is made by an American industrial controls manufacturer. It takes literally five minutes to install, watching a video on YouTube to get the correct procedure. It solved the problem of the timer not advancing on the old unit and my Kenmore 90 series washer is again as good as new after 15 years of constant use. Get the part # off of your old part and google it to make sure this is the right replacement part #. This part replaces four or five other part numbers from various washers. They are identical.

This is the cheapest NEW washer timer I found! It looked just like the original and was easy to put on! Works great and have washed many loads since! Would definitely buy from them again!

Good fit easy installation.Hint, to remove knob turn counterclockwise while using needle nose pliers to hold the metal shaft that is barely protruding from the back side of timer. Then you can remove the screws to get the old timer out.Take the timer to hardware store to find 2 replacement screws. The old ones don't fit this new timer. I selected some very short sheet metal screws that tightened up nicely. For the money the holes in the new timer should have been threaded to accept the original screws.

Very solid replacement timer and very easy to install. Packaged well. Unfortunately my Whirlpool timer dial didn't fit well on it so I had to return it. In fairness the timer was made for a different washer model so not completely unexpected.

This was a direct replacement for the original timer switch, so it went in with ease, however it seemed that the timer gear was a bit out of sync and it took several loads for the cycle to get the gear into sync with the full cycle to run unattended. Once that happened, the new timer switch worked perfectly from that point on, and is still working just fine. I am happy with the purchase and the performance of the product at this time, and have no regrets.
