Almost 2 Years of Hard Use
Used it for the first time today. I have been training with sandbags for a couple of years now and am a strong advocate for this method. I have found no better way to gain usable strength. Having been doing it for while I can say that the big downside is going through bag, after bag, after bag. This is the first commercial bag I have used. It replaces duffel or gym bags with the handles cut off and filled with rubber mulch. Some have worked pretty well and others have been a disaster. So far I cannot see any aspect of this bag's construction that is better than the best gym bag I have used. I have never needed filler bags prior to this because rubber mulch does not make a mess and has great volume for filling a bag. The downside is that it is fairly light so you need to put a lot in. The medium size bag here cannot hold enough mulch to get much weight using mulch. The large one might.I have filled this bag with sand from my yard using the filler bags and I can say that getting 75lbs into this thing is a tough job. I was able to get about 58 lbs in. If you have some really heavy filler maybe. One thing I noticed right away is that they don't want you to fill the filler bags or the sandbag to capacity. There is a reason for this. A sand bag maxed out will cause the seams to bust.My personal belief is that it is just not bag weight that matters. It is also volume and your ability to pick up and manipulate the bag. I do not advocate and really don't want a bunch of handles on my bag. Grabbing it by the fabric builds excellent grip strength. You have to squeeze while you lift. The handles, in my opinion, are needed to get people to buy the bag since they perceive that it doesn't work without them. It does....so I did my first workout today, in the park, on a basketball court, nothing special, and I do see some wear. This is typical and compares to what I have seen in the past with gym bags, good heavy duty ones. I'm not passing judgment yet, just passing it on and will report back on what I find.If I like what I get I will buy another bag, a large one, fill it with rubber mulch, and sell the filler bags. Maybe cut off the handles.Remember that it's just not the weight. It's also volume. Make the most of the least.Forward to 11/20/19. The bag has been used at least once a week since December 2017 and just now started to leak. I consider this to be superior performance considering what I have put it through. It helps to use it on a clean surface. I use an outdoor basketball court and sometimes sweep the space to clear it of rocks. Now I move on to the large bag and see how that goes.

Great product
UPDATEThe companies customer service is fantastic! They responded very quickly and have corrected the mistake. Very satisfied with the item and the company!---I'm giving 2 stars because I only received two of the three filler bags. With that being said, I did reach out to seller and will update once I receive a response. The quality over all is very nice and sturdy.

Rep Fitness sandbag
This is one of the best sandbags out there, and I would recommend it to anyone. There were only a couple reviews on this when I bought it, and I have gotten a few different Rep Fitness products and been really happy, especially with their customer service. Any issues and it's a quick phone call away with a real person in the USA picking up.The exterior bag: I've used a bunch of different sandbags and this one is really nice for a few different reasons. The stitching (from my pictures) you can see is double stitched and using some type of seat belt material which is crazy strong, and the rest of the bag is a canvas type. The handles leave plenty of space to grab them and have folded over materiel so it doesn't dig into your hands. Some other cheap sandbags on amz have plastic handles... horrible idea for doing cleans, carries, etc. because they dig into your shoulder. The filler bags: My medium bag came with a smaller filler bag and a larger one. It's super strong velcro that is inside the bag, then folds over to make a crease, then has more velcro to close it again. No way there is any sand coming out of these. I filled it up for like $3 at home-depot.Exercises: I've used it for shoulder carries, hiking, clean and jerk movements, rows, curls, shoulder to shoulder, farmers carry... no problems. I like sometimes not grabbing the handles because I feel like I'm getting even more grip strength this way. I've been following along with some youtube videos as well for some crossfit sandbag training and HIIT. Plan on using it for my spartan race training too - an awesome obstacle course race.Pro-tip: I got the 25-75lb bag, but only put 50lbs of sand in it. You could probably get away with 60lbs, and on the instructions it says no more than 3/4 full.. but getting 75lbs in here would be super hard, but probably possible. If you want a weight in the range of 65-115lbs, I would get the bigger one for sure.Last pro: I was comparing this to a couple other sandbags and this was priced a lot better for a 'higher-end' sandbag than others. I read the reviews and it seems like most of them leak sand/tear the stitching, etc.. Super happy with this one. Time to squat!!

A great find
Thus far they've been awesome! They seal really well and thus far haven't spilled an ounce of sand.
