School Smart - 90525 LED Clock with Remote Control, High Visibility, 7 x 13 Inches

I've had this clock for 7 months now and I love it. I bought it to put in my bedroom so I could see it without my glasses, the numbers are definitely big! The clock is VERY bright, I almost returned it because it lit up our bedroom like a red light in a bordello. However I loved the size of the numbers so I was determined to find a way to make it work. I stopped by a window tinting place to see if they could put a tint on the face of it to dim the brightness down. They couldn't because the clock couldn't get wet. They did give me some scrap material of the darkest tint they had for free (it would have ended in the trash anyway). I cut the window tint down to size and put little drops of glue in the corners of the face of the clock and placed the tint on there to dry. I'm happy to say it solved the brightness problem perfectly and you can't even tell there is glue on there. No one would be able to tell I altered the clock. It is easy to change the time on this clock, it works wonderfully and I now don't have to put my glasses on to see what time it is.

This is one of the best things I have bought for my business! I run my own sewing business at home and wanted to be able to keep my eye on the time to stay on schedule and stay motivated. This is quick and easy to read, the color red is vibrant. Right now I have it at seated eye level and I'm not exactly sure if I want to hang it high on the wall where I may not see it as often. When my studio door is open I can easily see it from across the house in the living room. I decided on this model as opposed to others available on Amazon because it is simple, large, and has the remote control. I didn't realize it has a lot of other functions, but honestly I don't need them and just keep it on clock mode. I love that the colon does not blink like a lot of other models out there. I hope it lasts a long time!

It's okay but I was disappointed when it arrived and you couldn't just use the battery power. My intention was to hang it on the wall of our sanctuary but because of the cord I had to put it on a shelf closer to the outlet. The advertizement is a bit confusing in stating it requires batteries. The batteries are just in case the power goes out and are to keep the clock on the correct time. Nothing is displayed however when this occurs.

I wanted a wall mounted clock with large numerals to put in my bedroom so I could see it easily from bed without squinting. I was fine with my old 3 inch digital clock before but the 4 inch digits on this unit make it much easier to read. Also the red display does not light up the room like the blue or green ones would.So I was please with the clock when I got it but what really excited me is that it is a huge digital indoor thermometer as well (also has the date)! I have mine set to display the time for 30 seconds, temp for 2 sec, time 30 and date for 2 sec. That can be changed to a number of pre selected sequences.The only drawback is that it is a little hard to operate with the remote. Not a problem for me as I wake up with out an alarm. But there are two alarms and it is nice to shut them off with the included remote. There are some buttons on the clock but they are on the back and not accessible when mounted on the wall.The price was good and everyone needs a clock so why not.

Great clock very bright, even in daylight, very easy to see with "old eyes" and the remote is a feature EVERY clock should have... no more fumbling in the dark to turn off that alarm! I have mine wall mounted and it never has to come off to set the time or an alarm, I bought one of these in the past and the newest ones come with time and date and a thermometer... the old one that I bought about 6 months ago just had time. One warning, this clock is very bright so choose a bedroom location carefully if you are sensitive to light while trying to sleep... the first location that I placed it bothered me while laying in bed... this clock is so bright I think I could tell the time with my eyes closed. .

This clock is not pictured accurately. The delivered item has a cheesy 2-inch "School Smart' logo painted on the display surface on the bottom left. I intended to use it as a fun clock for my living room, but the logo makes it look like garbage. I considered trying to disassemble the clock a bit and create my own housing that would cover up the logo, but that would be a lot of effort and cost for the price of it. Sending it back.Otherwise, it seems it like a well-made product.
