I'm a gourmet cooking enthusiast. I have used many styles of thermometers. This thermometer is very different from the traditional meat thermometers.Its intelligence has brought me a lot of conveniences. I also found that its buttons are large than the thermometers. I have purchased in the past, which makes it easier for me to operate. This item is definitely good value for your dollar!!!

I have reservations about this item. It's has economical price, has a bottle opener, came with spare battery, read out is quick & easy to read, long prob, and sturdy. Yet others of interest cast about $80.00. Why would one want to spend so much when so far after a few uses it has functioned great.

I love to barbecue with my buddy. It was a challenge for me to make a perfect steak without any tools. My friends tell me some ways to judge. It worked great the only problem I have with it was that it didn't seem to be that accurate with the temperatures.
