In the studio, got powered main monitors. Also classic non-powered Yamaha NS-10's and Tannoy near fields for reference. . Using typical Hafler power amp to drive them. I often neglected using those, because I was using old school banana plugs. Those are always prone to falling out of the Hafler, or the bare wire on the speaker post coming loose. Was such a problem, wasn't able to use them half the time. Plus the amp is buried in a rack.These Sewell are brilliant. Worked superb wtih thick gauge wire. It actually took longer to strip the wire sheath than install the plug. The smaller plugs fit tight, stayed in and are perfect for tight installations. Color coding was appreciated. No soldering, or having to wrap around a screw terminal.As others have said, wish I had known about these before. I've thrown out all my old style plugs and replacing with these. for now on.A little pricey, but well worth it.
