Green Air RCI Cell for Ecoquest Fresh Air 2.0 and 2.1

Perfect fit for my eco quest purchased years ago

The RCI cell appeared to be fine, but I have no way of knowing, as there was something else wrong with my Fresh Air 2. This was a brand new, out of the box, Fresh Air 2. When I plugged it in the only cycle that would come on was the "away" mode, with a message to consult my manual. After multiple attempts finally only the blank screen would come on and none of the buttons would work. I left it on for a while & finally got the message to replace the RCI cell. So I ordered this one, but it did nothing to make the machine turn on. This seller seems very reputable and he included a note with the RCI cell that stated if replacing the cell did not fix the problem it was likely a faulty motor problem and to have the manufacturer repair. The company - Ecoquest/Vollara no longer supports the machine and will not repair it, which is pretty annoying. I am returning the RCI cell. It is likely that the original one is still good as it is brand new. If anyone knows anything about someone that can repair the Fresh Air 2 I would be much obliged.

I installed it early August 2019, and about 90 days running and it is running fine. I can see the blue glow through the vents. It was easy to install in my Ecoquest Fresh Air 2.0 by simply removing the back just as you do to service it for cleaning it's ozone plates. The connector and mounting all matched my original, but I did have to slightly bend the metal tabs to match the angle of the OEM RCI unit. Otherwise it looks nearly identical to the OEM unit.

Appears to work but module doesn't have an attached module like old had. it seems to work about the same as the old one!!! No improvement!

I bought a replacement from the manufacturer it felt over priced. It was the only one. Then I bought from another company and the cell did not work. I was going to buy again from the manufacturer... THANK YOU AMAZON! I saved money and it works!

This RCI Cell is suppose to be coated with a special chemical that wears off after two years and therefore needs to be replaced. That is a true statement, so the new RCI Cell unit should be wrapped, in order not to let the special chemical out and be dated, so you know just how long it's been on the shelf, right?My RCI Cell was neither wrapped or dated. Hence, I cannot tell what I bought is fresh, stale, or in-between?

Ordered the RCI cell on the weekend and received it on Monday. Incredible service response. The RCI cell was easily installed and REALLY made a difference in the unit's performance. My Fresh Air 2.1 hasn't worked so powerfully in years. Guess I just got used to the fading performance. I'll take the recommendation to replace the RCI cell every 2 years a little more seriously now. Green Air will be my source based on service and quality of product.
