Wow I’m the first to review! I really like them. I’m using them on my chandelier, And a sconce. My Apple camera cannot show the whole chandelier without the lightbulbs just being a bright light . So I zoomed in on the bulb so you can see the LED filament. From a distance it looks like a very thin flame. And in pictures it just looks like another lightbulb. So pictures do not do the Edison type lightbulbs justice. The warm glow from the bulb is magnificent. It literally creates a mood. Never underestimate The power of the perfect lightbulb. Leave them on day or night because of its low power usage. And they should last a very very long time. Enjoy the Edison glow!

Like several other reviewers, I have window candles in my windows year-round - nearly 20. I’ve spent over 15 years running around replacing burned out incandescent bulbs every few months at a cost of about $80 per year for the bulbs alone. I didn’t know that LED bulbs existed for standard window candles that produced a bright and soft white light until my neighbor, an architect, recommended these after I complimented him on the lights in his windows. These are indistinguishable from incandescent and I would say produce a more attractive light. Note that they are smaller than your typical window candle bulb - think night light - but it makes no difference in the brightness of the light. I have the 8 hour timer variety window candles so that the bulbs don’t burn for 14 hours in the winter. When my incandescent bulbs would burn out, I had to be home to replace them at the same time that I wanted them to turn on. I’ll need to do the same with these, but they will burn out many, many more months later but I’ll write back with my experience. Finally, If you add the considerable energy savings of LED, you hit a home run with these bulbs.

I will adjust my rating from 2 - 3 stars.Bulbs are probably better suited for table accents lamps (which was my use) or maybe chandeliers.They are too bright for most night lights. Would say these are more bright white, closer to >3000k. CRI seems close to 85, the lumens seem more than 50 in my opinion.Like all LED bulbs, there is no way of knowing how long they will truly last.One last note: The picture they use of the bulb as just a night light, is simply not accurate. This bulb literally will hurt your eyes if not covered and would probably *light* a 12 x 12 room.

Description states that they are equivalent to 4W, but that is nowhere near possible. They are easily 2-3x brighter than a standard 5w candle bulb. It literally hurts to look at one and you're left with spots if you happen to glance and catch one in your vision.Also, the description states that they are not dimmable, but not that they do not work with auto on/off light sensors. When the candles are set to auto on/off, the light is constantly on at about 1w (unfortunately too dim to just use that way).

I have holiday themed ceramic villages that I put out for certain times of the year. The little bulbs for the village light strand always end up blowing out at least once every few years. These bulbs have a nice glow to them. They also don't overheat like the normal village bulbs. I do wish that they were covered with a film so that I can't see the blindingly bright light through the village windows. Other than that they are perfect for the task.I will probably end up ordering these again.

I wanted an LED night light bulb - equivalent to 4 watts. This was as close as I could get. It is very bright. MUCH brighter than I wanted for subtle evening light. Still, it has a long life, is eco friendly, stays cool to the touch so I will tolerate the brightness.

These are beautiful! I had grown tired of constantly replacing standard incandescent bulbs. These are an exceptional replacement to those older bulbs. The color is a wonderful warm light that is not overly powerful if you're looking to set some mood lighting or some landscaping lighting in place. Since I've only had them for a short time, I'm unable to speak to their longevity or how well they will function in an outdoor environment. That being said, the incandescent lamps hardly lasted at all and I was constantly replacing them so almost anything could be better than that. So far I highly recommend these.

We just got the bulbs. They were packed carefully, they even survived the Amazon delivery guy dropping them as they came up the sidewalk. You can see in my pictures that the color is very similar to the original non-led bulbs. New bulb in the mucic box store, old bulb in the quilt shop. New bulb in the school, old bulb in the camp building. The color warmth is hard to tell any difference. I'm very happy.
