Doing a great job! Good value for the cost.
We've had it for about a month. My duct contractor installed it without any trouble. It vents outside. It's really pulling cooking smells up away from the stove very nicely. The lighting is also good. It was true to it's stated dimensions so it fit between the two cabinets. It's not particularly quiet but that's because it's really moving air. Update: still happy with the hood a few months in It’s very powerful and I can’t live without the lights! It draws well from the stovetop and fairly well from the oven. It’s a bit loud but I think that’s because it’s working.

Great Oven Hood For Price
Very nice hood for the price! It looks so sleek in my new kitchen. My husband said it was mostly easy to install. Also big bonus points in purchasing this was there was an included ductless kit option with the purchase, I didn’t have to purchase it separately like most of the other hoods I looked at. The only downsides of this product would be:1. The highest setting for the vent is pretty dang loud. But, it definitely does the job it needs to do when you have to use that setting!2. The bigger issue that my husband and I don’t like is that the buttons seem hard to activate. I’m not sure if it’s us not doing it right or the hood itself, but we have to push the button multiple times before it kicks on. Which isn’t a terribly big deal, but just a small annoyance.Overall I am pleased with this product and would buy again if need be!

Updated my review after calling for help
The installation booklet sent with the unit is worthless. IKEA instructions make more sense! The hood came with a damper and another attachment that are not in the booklet nor did it come with complete installation hardware. Came with a bent filter and some broken pieces of plastic inside the unit. I appreciate that it had the damper, but like I said no hardware for it or instructions.UPDATE:Customer service called me back and emailed me proper instructions for what I was missing. I received a replacement filter in the mail within 2 days of calling to inform them that the one delivered was bent.IT IS SO QUIET AND EFFICIENT!!!I will be buying the larger one for my mother for Christmas!!IT IS BEAUTIFUL! It makes my kitchen look amazing.

Easy Install!
Easy to install, exactly what we were looking for our kitchen remodel. Fan is quiet with six speeds, I like the option to dim the light.

Looks great, great value for price
Worked great for my application a covered patio over my bbq (not recommended) but does what I need it to do. Vent smoke out through the roof. May be somewhat loud when on high speed indoors. Easy for me to install but I do many DIY projects around my home.

Bad motor after two months
Actual review, I purchased this item and installed myself.Good: Installation was not that hard but better if you have two people help you. Looks pretty good. Was quiet when worked, and fan speeds were good.Bad: unit worked for about two months and vented out good but all of the sudden the unit would not power on. I thought it was a power issue and checked my breakers. No breakers or power issue with electrical line. So I had an electrician look at the power and unit. He tested the power out and ground. There was positive power and we hooked up other household appliances like the microwave and vacuum and they worked fine. So we singled out to unit itself. We disassembled and checked fuses but they were really hard to get to. The fuses seemed to be fine. Electrician came to conclusion that it is a bad motor after very minor use and only two months. I am in process of filing a claim as under warranty per manufacturer cavaliers 800-827-5950. Have been getting the run around and technical support. I am still fighting to get the unit replaced. I would have second thoughts about buying this unit is my honest opinion as a motor should not go bad after very little use after two months. Hopefully they will honor there warranty.
