The most action-packed volume yet
I am always amazed at how manga writers can keep a story fresh and exciting over multiple volumes. Matra continues to do that here and add more to our understanding of the tension among Yuuto's harem. The story begins were the previous volume ends with a fight between Tamamo-no-Mae (the Nine-Tailed Fox), Yuuto, and several women from his harem. In the past, we'd watch as the women did all of the fighting and Yuuto was protected by them. Here we see the evolution of Yuuto as he directs the attack by his harem. It is one of the first times that Yuuto convincingly takes on his role as demon slayer. The volume also continues the story arc of Shizuku's growing desire for Yuuto and the battle between Shuten-Douji, Yuuto, and Himari. The volume ends with the Class President coming across Tamano-no-Mae and taking her home. This event is certain to be a main plot line in future volumes. As I have said in the past, I really enjoy this manga and look forward to each new volume. The characters continue to develop and evolve, if somewhat slowly, and Yuuto seems to have no shortage of women (real and not) who love and desire him. The action is pretty constant in this volume and Matra has turned up the sexual innuendos and heat a couple of notches. For those who have enjoyed this manga's past volumes, you will not be disappointed with this one.

Great fun and fanservice
If you don't like fanservice or the usual gags and situations that go along with it, Himari might not be for you.I, for one, found myself falling in love with even the minor characters. The artwork is just incredible, and I find myself wanting to go back and read it multiple times over. Highly recommend!

A mix of business and pleasure
In an attempt to form an alliance with an Ayakashi sympathetic to their cause, Yuuto, Rinko, Liz and Himari make an excursion to a ski and hot spring resort for a mix of business and pleasure. However, this pleasure is fleeting, as a now-grown-up-looking Tamamo-no-Mae appears and tries to kill them all, but due to some quick thinking on Yuuto's part, and quick action on the parts of Himari and company, the Fox is not only drained of her energy, but repelled for the time being. While this battle doesn't really allow the protagonists to progress in their war against the Nine-Tails, they do succeed in delaying her completion by depleting her of her extra energy for now, as she no longer has the power to stay in her more ... voluptuous form. As an added bonus, Yuuto begins to learn to take the leadership role, as he should, considering he has the most interest in the turnout of this battle. Not to mention the fact that one of the demons the Nine-Tails is the most excited about devouring is Himari!Despite throwing the Nine-Tails off their trail, Yuuto and Himari soon find that their problems are nowhere near over. This time, she had acted on her own since Shuten-Douji had left her side for some reason, but what will happen when it's his turn to stare them down. Will Yuuto be able to defend himself against the more mature, and more ruthless demon?-- David Gromer
