In the first volume of this excellent ecchi manga, we were introduced to Yuuto, a Demon Slayer, his demon cat protector, the sexy Himari, his not quite girlfriend, Rinko, and a water wielding snake demon, Shizuku. Yuuto's parents were killed in a car accident seven years prior to the beginning of the manga and Rinko has watched after him since then. In this second volume (covering Chapters 7-12), we begin to see some competition among the three females for Yuuto's affection. There is also some background on Rinko and Yuuto's relationship. The product description makes the story sound much more sexual than it is. The harem aspects of the story are certainly present, but there is more to this excellent manga than panty shots and sexual innuendo. The main plot line for this volume revolves around Yuuto's emerging desire for humans and demons to coexist. He shows this when visiting a teashop owned by a spirit, Lizlet L. Chelsie, that is an animated teacup but has a human form of a buxom blond always in maid outfit. He saves the teacup from destruction and tells Liz that he is not interested in being a demon slayer like his ancestors. He also visits his grandparent's home, where he spent his early childhood, playing with Himari in her cat form. We still do not know why his parents left this ancestral home and took Yuuto away from his grandparents and Yuuto's memories of this period of his life are only now emerging. Finally, as a descendent of the Amakawa Family, Yuuto has the power of the Light Ferry, an ability to make almost any object a powerful weapon and we see Yuuto use it when Himari is in danger. Another nice addition to this excellent manga. My only complaint is the rather slow pace future volumes in series are released. I can't recommend this manga series highly enough. An excellent guilty pleasure.

Great storyline and was written by a good author.I really enjoyed reading this at work during my breaks. ^-^
