A great replacement for the original plastic plugs

I knew I was moving a lot of furniture in the next few weeks and wanted more tie down locations. For some reason GM only put them at the bottom of each corner of the bed in the 2014+ Silverado. Looked at the GM ones but they are very pricey and I don’t care for how they anchor in the bed wall. Saw these decided to give them a try for the price. I almost returned them because I only received 5 instead of the six. I emailed the seller and they replied they would complete the order with four pieces. Well I received the additional pieces today and it was a whole package of six pieces! The seller was quick to reply to my original inquiry and shipped the additional pieces quickly. I haven’t used them to tie down anything really heavy yet but they have been awesome for the furniture I strapped in. The only negative I have noticed so far is there were a couple pieces where the finish had a few chips in it right out of the bag. Overall I would recommend.

These are solid and such a great price. I have bought 2 packs and have nothing negative to say about them at all. Fit my 2021 Chevy Colorado no problem.

Installation on the first one is difficult, but once you get the idea of how it holds in place, its not bad. Use a wrench with ratchet socket to make your life easier.

A little tricky to install but after the first one it wasn't a big deal. Insert it then turn bolt 90 degrees and pull back out so "nut" is against the inside of the bed then tighten until the nut is in past the post that keep it from turning and your good to go. I like the way they look installed and it will be nice to have the additional anchor points. The only downside is that one of mine is missing the foam gasket and when trying to get support the website comes back without a security certificate and Chrome recommends you not to proceed.

These tie down anchors are a good value for your money. They are relatively easy to install. You'll need a flat head screw driver to remove the cover from your truck bed. Attach the bolt to the retainer and tighten until the bolt show through. Don't forget to attach the foam gasket to the anchor. Place the the retainer parallel to the anchor and insert in the truck wall opening. Rotate the bolt clockwise and pull out to force the retainer into place. Hand tighten the bolt and finish tightening with a 1/2 inch box wrench. A ratcheting wrench will will not fit.I recommend it and would buy it again.

Only time will tell how sturdy these are and how well they hold up, they feel sturdy now. Installation is easy once the factory installed plugs are removed. The only tool required for installation is a 1/2" box-end wrench.

They went easy to work with. Something that should be stated is, to effectively tighten them in place, a 13mm boxed end wrench is needed.

I bought this product. They are very hard to install. none of my wrenches fit in. I had to tight with the plier (loosely). one of the items in the package did not tight at all. I need it to be replaced.
