Good value for money chin rest that fits my 4/4 violin.

It’s a good quality item but I sent it back as it didn’t suit my style of playing - I hold the fiddle a bit lower and forward on the collarbone compared to the standard / classical position (I play old time American) which means the curvature of the rest doesn’t quite work for me. Other than that it is well made and should otherwise be comfortable so would recommend if it suits the way you would hold the fiddle..

Great quality for the price. Easily adjustable and feels secure on the violin. The foam padding is a little firm and thin compared to a more expensive rest, but is still comfortable to use. The mute also works well.

I'm not reviewing the mute sorry I haven't used it yet. Howeve, the shoulder rest is really good, however, it's my first shoulder rest and I don't really know how to compare. I would like some instructions on how to place the shoulder rest on the violin and my shoulder as I'm currently making it up however I'm not in pain and I do not feel discomfort.

It’s all made of plastic. Unlike our previous one which was mix of plastic, wood and rubber. Very comfortable to use I must say. The only problem I want to highlight is the toxic smell of the plastic. Hopefully it will fade away after time.

Si quieres tocar como Paganini, practica y déjate de historias, esto no es más que una almohadilla. Más cómodo es, está claro, y cumple su función a la perfección. Aunque mi violín sigue sonando igual que un gato en celo. Por suerte incluye una sordina y mis vecinos no llaman a Dimitri para que me parta las manos con tanta frecuencia.
