This book ROCKS!
Jen Hubert's inimitable review style translates well from her [...] web page, aimed at teens, to this professional guide for the librarians and teachers who work with teens. This is NO dry text book. The writing is lively and fun but also very informative. The detailed book summaries are great for refreshing plot and character details to weave into booktalks or to use to guide readers advisory. The additional features of each book's entry make the book a very useful tool in helping to match the right book with the right teen reader at the right time. Keep a copy handy--you might even find your teen patrons browsing it for reading ideas.
