Here are some basic sizing suggestions: our lederhosen are advertised in actual inches, measured around the inside of the waist band. You might want to compare with the measurement of your jeans or pants at home to see with how many inches those come up and that is basically the size you want to order your lederhosen in from us. The leather of the lederhosen also stretches a little bit after a few times of wearing. in the back of the waist band are those straps (like shoe laces) to fine tune the fit. you can loosen and tighten them around an inch. If you are unsure or in between sizes then my recommendation is to go rather one size up.

Get the size down. Order large but not too large.
After looking over customer reviews I decided to order large. Looks like I order a little too large so if this helps anyone. I am a 40" waste I ordered a 44" and it was about 2 inches too big. However seeing the pants I reorder a 42 inch in a blink of an eye. The pants look fantastic!! The pants were a bit darker then in the photo which is fine by me. They were more of a dark chocolate brown rather then a light or golden brown. The darker color really makes the embroidery stand out and pop. Like I said they look great and look to be well made. It's all about the sizing. The only question mark in my mind that will prevent you from ordering a pair for yourself.

Important Sizing
Don’t listen to any other reviews on here when it comes to choosing the right size. They all say to order a size or two larger. These lederhosen are listed on here in actual jean waist sizes. Don’t worry about measuring your waist. If you wear a size 34 jeans comfortably then order the 34. I ordered larger at first and it was huge. If i had to translate into sweatpant sizes I would give a 38 as XL, a 36 as Large and a 34 as Medium. Don’t waste your time returning to the UPS store, order your first time your actual size. Anyway, quality is perfect. Genuine dark brown suede leather. Everything comes crisp and unworn so you have to wear it a little to break it all in. Buttons are big and you will have to work them into the slots the first few times. No issues with quality for the money. It’s a great buy and should last many years for Oktoberfest and Halloween.

Authentic and comfortable
I ordered these for my boyfriend for Oktoberfest and was very happy with them. They have a very authentic look and feel and are made of real leather (and they smell like it!) I also like the unique wheat design. One thing that I didn't realize when I bought them is that they are lined with satin which I think makes them more comfortable. They fit fairly similar to a normal pair of just above the knee short. Overall great purchase.

Size Matters
Sure nuff. I read the reviews and thought I had it figured out. I wear size 34 trousers (okay, the ones with the stretch band hidden inside). I ordered size 36. Returning. Will reorder the size 38 as soon as my refund shows on my card. Amazon is the BEST with returns and reorders. The Lederhosen and material look great. I think this is going to be the ticket.

Authentic feel and look. I would highly recommend this seller for anyone looking to go to the festival in Munich. Way better price for the same quality. I usually go with a 31 waist so I ordered a 32, had to return for a 34 which was perfect.

Buy a size up
I’d wear these to work if socially acceptable. They are that good. Quality and comfortable, perfect leather beer drinking shorts. Buy a size larger than you normally wear.

It's the real deal!
I'm a 34, and ordered a 38. It fits perfectly with comfort and room to spare. Stitching and embroidery are exceptional. Great leather quality. Great product.
