Surprising excellent desert and different from domestic finds
I don’t recall where I saw the recommendation to try these, and found them on Amazon. Each item is individually foil wrapped, and one must take care in handling, as they are super soft. These are delicious, and should be taken in small bites. There is a super thin outside chocolate skin, just enough there to provide the slightest crunch. This coating covers an airy cream filling (they call it ‘marshmellow’ and it is so much better than the dry stuff we find here) atop a light cookie almost wafer.Highly recommend, and this order comes with multiple boxes, with six candies in each box — enough that you would feel good about making gifts to your closest friends.

Merry Freakin Squishmas!
I bought these for my husband for Christmas because it was one of his favorite things to eat when he lived in Scotland right along with a curry chip roll... I bought these, opened the Amazon box to see what was inside (I did a lot of shopping online this year like everyone else) and taped it shut, and wrapped it for Christmas immediately without opening anything else because my husband WAS about and at home due to lockdowns and being forced to work from home.Well, he opened them this morning and the ENTIRE top layer was squished to HELL. They have packaging inside these big boxes to keep them stable & from tossing about all over the inside of the box but, when the cakes are SQUISHED and no longer DOME shaped, they are flat enough to move about the box and muck up other cakes in the process.I normally wouldn't complain about something like this but, these came in a box with shell trays, and that box was in an Amazon box the entire time it was out of the shipper's custody so I could only deduce the crushing of those tea cakes happened before they were shipped, and the shipper just didn't CHECK before they shipped them.It was rather embarrassing to have him open them and have an entire tray of them be destroyed.Merry Squishmas!....I guess.

You won't believe this...
Why do YOU choose to buy a candy you've never heard of before? Me? It's a FB group. Yep. I learned about Tunnock's in the Scotland's Wild Haggis Animal Discovery Group. It's such a fun group, and finally I just had to try these. Turns out they are good! Okay, they are not as good as hubby's homemade fudge, but they are, in fact, good. They are certainly worth a try.

I don't enjoy these quite as much as my mother but they are pretty good. She loves getting a pack of these every Christmas. If you like cookies, marshmallow and chocolate this is an all it one!

Great product poorly maintained
This is the same product I fell in love with during a trip thru England and Scotland, but it just doesn't survive delivery to the USA very well. About 80% of the individually wrapped (in foil only, not airtight), cakes had some area of the chocolate coated dome collapsed, making the product stale, no longer melt-in-your-mouth. The beauty of this product is the ultra soft, whipped marshmallow, almost a buttercream texture. It just doesn't hold up over time, and these felt like they were at least a couple months beyond their ideal condition. Out of the combined 36 cakes, I was able to enjoy about 5 of them that were like I remembered and was craving for from my trip. They are still tasty even a bit stale, but a world of difference from getting them off the store shelves in England, especially at that price.
