Prepworks by Progressive ProKeeper (Produce - Variety)

COVID-19, the pandemic, inflation, 2021, what can we say? There's less money in our pockets now than 2 years ago. I am the primary grocery shopper in this household and you cant ignore that food prices have gotten crazy expensive. My husband has recently started grocery shopping with me and now understands why we have barely had any steak in 2 years. With that being said, fruits and vegetables are one of the most frequented foods we throw away in this house. It would spoil in less than a week in their original containers and to say I was upset about it is an understatement. With the current economy, I got tired of throwing away food and decided to search for ways and containers to prolong the shelf life of our produce. I came across these containers and already they saved us so much money. The package came with 4 containers,1x large, 1 medium, and 2x small overs. The 2 small ones I used for raspberries and blackberries. The medium I use for strawberries since we buy 2 containers at the store. And the large I use for lettuce primarily. Since purchasing this containers, the shelf life of my fruit now last for almost 2 weeks and the lettuce last for about a month, maybe longer! The lids give you instructions for you to store each produce. It may seem like a waste of money to buy containers for fruit, etc. But thinking about how much money I've thrown away because they spoil so fast, you might as well just put that money towards these containers. I will definitely be adding more to my collection!

I ordered these at the request of my daughter. Can't really address freshness of food because with 3 hungry children nothing stays in the refrigerator very long. I bought these because they are clear & they stack. I can now see everything at a glance. Inside my frig is now organized & looks great. I feel a surge of satisfaction every time I open the refrigerator door. I also got this brand's deli keepers and they have made my deli drawer so much better. I can immediately see what cold cuts are present & how much & what kind of cheeses are there. Makes writing my grocery list simpler.

I have been failed by various products marketed for keeping produce fresh for longer. These Prepworks containers really work. I love that you can rinse fruits and veggie right in the bin and pop the bottom back on. They open and close easily and it’s nice that they tell you on the lids which fruit or veg needs the air vent or water in the bottom. I had no idea how to properly store my produce before I found these. I use the biggest container for leafy greens, the medium one for grapes or strawberries, and the smallest one for blueberries, cherry tomatoes, or cut veggies. I cannot recommend this product enough!

We go food shopping every Sunday. We're both civil servants - nothing fancy in our fridge and we try to stretch every paycheck. My husband makes salads for both if us every single day for lunch for work. Has for years. By Friday, our salads are usually wilted, soft and bland. Sometimes we muscle through them, but, more often than not, those yucky Friday salads came home, wind up in the garbage and we would find ourselves on the way out, starving, for an early Friday supper. The large container is helping our veggies stay fresh for the entire week so even the Friday salads are crispy and edible. We store the cucumbers, bell peppers and cherry tomatoes in one container as they can all be stored in the same way. His blueberries are in another container and they keep their flavor longer as well. Fridge is also more organized as we store all the veggies in one container instead of trying to maneuver everything into our tiny crisper drawer. Originally saw these on a television shopping network, googled them and found them cheaper on this site. In our experience, since we basically buy the same thing every week, we have extended the shelf life of all of our fruits and veggies by a few days. Mathematically - turned 8 salads a week into 10.

I like the fact that my collard greens stay fresh for over a week, same for romaine lettuce, I does gives my produce a longer life.Do not recommend putting in dishwasher as mine have crack in the past, so I only hand wash.Keeps my fridge more organized.

Using these allows my fruit to stay fresher longer the holes in the bottom with the convenient tray allow the water to drain out after I have rinsed them the vents on the side allow it to get more or less air depending on the type of fruit or vegetable that I put inside of them and I love the different sizes.

Now that we've switched to mesh bags for produce while grocery shopping, I needed a way to store the veggies so they wouldn't wilt and would stay crisp. These containers really work! My cilantro is fresh and perky for over a week as is my broccoli and lettuce. I just ordered my second set. The variety pack is the way to go for all sizes (though celery must be trimmed). Love the built in instructions on the lid for when to add water and ventilate! Good quality, solid, clear, and stackable, what more could you ask for?

My spouse is the chef and I'm the shopper. With only two of us, keeping herbs and produce fresh long enough to use an entire package or bundle has been an ongoing dilemma. So often, the last third or quarter of a purchase goes in the compost bin or trash because the two of us just don't consume it fast enough. These containers have the potential to be a game-changer, especially for couples and small families. We have only had them a few weeks, but we have used them with basil, lettuce, spinach, and green onions so far, and we've been impressed with the results. I will update this review in a few weeks when we have experimented with more produce.
