This was on sale for $40 on prime day and it was well worth that price it’s solid and it came all put together which is such a treat. In fact, the most difficult part of the purchase was cutting up the box for a recycling.And kudos to my delivery driver for helping me get ithe heavy package through the doorway!

1. Reviewers aren’t kidding when they say this thing might fall apart on you. I just received mine, and several mortise and tenon joints came apart when I lifted it up to carry it into the house. It doesn’t look like any glue was used on the joints.2. It’s made of 2 different woods. The frame is one wood. The panels look like more like luan.3. Mine is two-toned (possibly unintentionally, I don’t really know). The frame is brown with a definite reddish tint. The panels are darker brown with no reddish tint.4. This thing is heavy, unwieldy to carry, and prone to fall apart at multiple joints when moved. I wouldn’t want it to fall over on anybody.5. Mine had a few nicks and one noticeable gash.6. Mine had a strong, chemical smell out-of-the-box. I left it in the garage for several days to air out.Overall, I like it. I even like the subtle two-tone look. It creates the division of space that I wanted in a stylish, clean-looking, and classy way. I’m disappointed about the joints coming apart. I’m disappointed about the nicks and gash. I’m glad I didn’t pay anywhere near full price for it given that it’s not very well-made.

After 2 weeks of owning it the mortise and tenon joints simply fell apart. So it separated into 2 pieces. This happened because the joints are milled incorrectly (the mortise's are too big) and there is too much slop in the joint. They then use glue to try and increase the strength of the joint which will not work. So it just pulls apart.Also this is NOT walnut what it is is some really cheap crap soft wood that they use a dark die to try and make it look like walnut. The finish looked ok but because the wood is so poor the side stretcher cracked and completely split in half. As a woodworker and furniture builder there is NOTHING I can say about this that is a positive. The materials are junk, the workmanship is poor and the price is high. I was going to fix the mortise and tenon joints but the wood is so bad that when I took it to my shop I noticed that one of the sides had completely split in half. iI isn't worth the time or effort to repair. It is being sent back as the garbage it is and I will just build one to fit my room that is going to last (out of real walnut). I would not take this piece of crap if they gave it to me for free. It is nothing but poor quality firewood. avoid if you value your money.

Very nice divider…looks so good!

Not full wood panel as purchased before a few years ago. On the panel inserts those are now pressed cardboard or similar.Not wood, and you can see the difference. The frame of each panel is wood, the panels are not. Also, not a sturdy and well built as the others I had previously. Middle panel has pulled away at the bottom, I'll need to bump in back in and reglue. This hasn't been moved maybe 3-4 times as far folding it up when not in use. It's a shame, the ones I had before were great quality.

I am very pleased with the wood room divider. I bought 3 on amazon prime day to use instead of a interior door and it looks beautiful.

Beautiful and works exactly where I needed it.

This divider has an attractive quality appearance. It is quite sturdy and durable. It may be heavy for some people to move and, although it can be quite stable (depending on how you stand it), our guest expressed concern that in the unlikely event that it fell over it could harm her. This divider provides an inexpensive and easy way to create a temporary private space. I wish there was a discount for a second divider because I want to buy another.

I can say about this room divider- good quality! That wall felt down couple times (big family 😁) and nothing broken . Thank you!

Came with minor damage to the other packaging. Interior was mostly okay.... but glue and other damage were there. It is sturdy... but the lack of quality is apparent.

Have apt space at end of kitchen meant for table and chairs never used it. Have drip free freezer and neat storage area recycle bins etc no other place for them. Hate looking at it from livingroom stretched out two sets partitions sandwich between furniture and stacked storage stays put and is very high just a pretty wood wall with that nice detail at the top. 2 of them just wide and tall enough bought them years apart kind of expensive close to $300 each. Been redecorating my livingroom and now I don't see storage. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 partly because. inside of real wood frames is a thinner wooden patterned laminate and the price at nearly $300 kind of pricey.

In my parents in-law's senior residence, there is one very large window that my mother-in-law decided to not have curtains or blinds so she could see the outside. But when it is a hot day, the sun shines in and it bakes her! She asked me to find some sort of folding screen that she can put up when it's sunny and then easily push it aside when she wants to see out the window. It had to have a wood look to it. I never thought I would find one but when I did find this one, I asked her if it would be to her liking and she said, possibly! As soon as it arrived, my father-in-law put it up and she called me right away, she was so excited! My mother-in-law is 88, and even now, months later, she tells me how much she loves her privacy screen, how beautiful it is, and how easy it is to move around their living room!!This item, even though it is bulky to ship, arrived on time, was in perfect condition upon arrival, and was super easy for my father-in-law to set up - and this privacy screen is tall!Highly recommended!!
