Works great for my blu-ray collection, bought 3. Sturdy even though cardboard material.

I am very impressed by this storage box for a couple reasons.1. Great sleek & modern style - The metal buttons and corner accents really make it pop with style. And the leather laminate looks really nice and would match any decor. I always thought those large stands with all those dvd cases were an eye sore but not with these storage boxes. I prefer to hide my movies and games.2. Holds exactly 26 DVDs or 28 Blu-rays - That is a lot of cases and it holds them nicely. If you have all blu-ray cases, it holds 26 cases from front to back and since blu-ray cases are a little bit smaller than dvds, you have a little space on the side where you can fit 2 more blu-ray cases for a total of 28 CASES. I am actually using mine for 28 blu-ray playstation 3 cases.3. Price - Look at the low price!* I heard some people complain about that it is made out of cardboard. Look at the price you paid. What did you expect? It is but it is definitely a stronger material than a shoebox or a brown box cardboard. It is plenty strong enough to carry 26-28 cases (slightly less than 9 pounds). It isn't as strong as wood, metal or plastic but if you take reasonable care of the box, you really don't need wood, plastic or metal material for a box that weighs less than 9 pounds. And if you really wanted to go with a real wooden box with the faux leather, you will easily be paying at least 4 or 5 times more than this box. No thanks. Look it up as I searched the internet and the prices were very expensive. And lets forget those horrible looking cheap clear plastic cases as that isn't even an option!*I have yet to experience buttons popping loose. I am pretty careful and I don't expect to but if I do, I would edit this post. Right now for the low price, I give this storage box an 5 out of 5. I am going to purchase another one now.

It works okay but is much wider than the size of a CD. The lis gits loosely also.

14 years later and these are still in the same condition I bought them. Great for storage and stowing is second to none.Study after assembly provided you fill the case and don't overdo with loads over a dozen pounds.Did not stress test under harsh conditions. Designed for office/home useUsed it primarily for DVDs (if people still have those) and game cases (mainly Xbox 360.....)

When I was searching for something relatively inexpensive to store disks of our movies and TV series, this caught my attention. The case chosen was in black. To protect the edges of the disk cases, I lined the bottom with self stick red velvet felt( available on Amazon for less than $5). The dimensions of the bottom section were approximately 16 inches long x 8 inches wide, x 6 inches high. Assembly consisted of folding up the sides of the bottom which snapped into place. All four corners of top were reinforced with metal. This box holds steelbooks, whole sets of your favorited TV series or movies with their original plastic cases. Should the bottom get scuffed, I can always use a black Sharpie for touch up.

I needed a place to put my DVDs and this was great. I have the DVDs in plastic sleeves so I was able to fit in like 70 DVDs into the thing. Well not sure on the actual number as I didn't count. But it's a lot.

This product is really nice for a great price. It looks nice (although it is cardboard) and assembly was a...snap! I purchased two of these to house my husbands LP 45's collection. The height is obviously too tall (I knew that the lid wouldn't fit, but the width is perfect for 45 in their sleeves. I even have these (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V7GGBOU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) 45 RPM Dividers in there with no issue. All of his 45's ended up fitting in one, so I used the second one to store his Sega Genesis Games. The boxes fit nicely inside with the lid on.
