This bag works to keep your car seat clean & probably less banged up than without it but don't expect it to stand up to super rough handling. It is a lightweight bag, not a heavy duty bag but this is reflected in the price. There was plenty of room for my convertible car seat to fit w/a couple of towels strapped in the harness w/the easy adjuster to tighten the cord. I did take the advice of a reviewer of this one or the umbrella stroller bag & used duct tape on the seams prior to the flights. I purchased both the umbrella stroller & the car seat bags & both held up well--no rips or tears & no damages or dirt added to baby equipment. Even hubby thought this was a good idea AFTER he saw another dad pick up their gate-checked stroller (without a bag) have a bunch of stuff fall out of the stroller since they hadn't emptied the basket before gate-checking. Nice to know that if the towels came loose from the harness, since the harness wasn't super tight w/just 2 towels, that they wouldn't get lost since this bag can be closed.This bag did what I expected, kept my car seat clean!I did end up checking the car seat but the airline was nice enough to take the car seat in this bag (turned inside out so that 'GATE CHECK' wasn't visible) and put into a large clear plastic bag to protect from any rain (since it was rainy weather when we traveled). All was well but I felt better having this bag protect the car seat since a plastic bag is not exactly sturdy. Purchase price was worth my peace of mind :-)

This bag got beat up. It’s been traveled with so many times and not one tear. Tough little bag!

Large enough for my evenflo shyft dualride. It was very helpful for getting on the plane and keeping the stroller clean. My only issue is that it got some light rips after the first used. The stroller was gate checked.

Thicker than I thought. We used it flying to Disney and it protected the carseat

This bag is pretty cheap and convenient. The one thing I’ll say is- don’t plan on using this for a long time. TSA and going through scanners, getting tossed around on flights really did some damage to the bag. When we picked it up it had holes in it already, and the drawstring had broken and come undone so our car seat was half hanging out of it.

Solid purchase - we were able to easily pop our car seat in and pass it off for gate check. The way it folds up so small was also a bonus. I didn't notice that there was a little holster for AirTags if you wanted to put on one until after purchasing. We didn't use it - but it seemed like a practical feature for future use. Shoulder straps were easy to use and made grabbing our items a breeze. There was minimal padding, so I wouldn't feel confident dropping off my car seat at checked baggage - but it was good enough for gate check.

Great bag! Took a chance and it fits both the Doona and the base with ease! To clarify things the car seat gate check bag version, not the stroller gate check one. Only upgrade that would have been nice is a back back strap option vs just carry handle
