I have found this book to be a nice companion piece to Zero Limits
I have found this book to be a nice companion piece to Zero Limits. It completes the background and helps you understand the process better. Once you get through Joe's usual self promotion and endless marketing of his other products he does give you valuable info and understanding. Once you understand Joe Vitale, and his needs, he still is a blessing. I would not have known of Ho"oponopono, which has helped me immeasurably without Mr. Vitale. Just take the ego out Joe and the message you are sharing will be more accepted and you will become more esteemed. Thanks anyway and keep cleaning.

Highly recommend
I read Joe's previous book on this topic many years back. I found it a little strange after I first read the first book. I practiced the technique but after reading this book I realized I didn't fully understand how to use the technique. This book provided me with the information I needed on how to apply this in my life. He continually recommends to clean, clean, clean, etc. After a month of cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, I did one big cleaning for everything in my past and it worked much better. I only now have to clean for the present. That was a big relief.Even though I still feel this technique is a little strange, I guess I shouldn't use the word strange, maybe because of the uniqueness it feels strange. If you read his first book on the H technique, I highly recommend you read this one so you can achieve more clarity, like I did.

Sceptic no more
I was reluctant to buy this book due to a negative bias towards Joe Vitale, which was based on some reviews here, and probably other things I picked up unconsciously over the years. This is my first Vitale book, and while I think it needs more astute editing (I’m in the writing and editing industry), I can find no other ‘fault’ with it.It’s written only by Joe, who’s human and fallable, and probably has a larger than life personality (undoubtedly A++ type), the type of characterisitics I think inspire misunderstanding. But don’t let these detract - the book inspired me much more than I expected it to. I learned what I needed to and more about Ho’oponopono, which is proving every bit as miraculous and serendipitous as it’s enthusiastic proponents (of which I’m one too now) claim it to be. In fact, I might just read the book again and again for it’s cleaning value.

The author is full of himself and in many cases shows that he does not practice Ho'oponopono
There are some useful tools in here, and some interesting sections. The tools for trying to be present and not react based on past events can make a difference, which I found out before ever hearing of Ho'oponopono. I do believe that one's attitude can affect one's body language, and as a species that has evolved to read body language, this can be picked up by others and influence their reactions. Mind you, none of that is explained. The explanations for your influence on others in this audio book is more "mumbo jumbo" and less reasonable explanation. There were also some interesting sections that discussed neuroplasticity and the placebo effect. But these things were a very small fraction of At Zero. Most of it just seemed like bs. The narrator, Joe Vitale, seems to be full of it. The so-called evidence for the miracles brought about through Ho'oponopono is what is known as "anecdotal evidence", i.e. stories. Interestingly enough, even if the stories are 100% true (and some just seem like they cannot be), it still would not be proof. There is a well-known fallacy in science known as "Post hoc ergo propter hoc" (after this therefore because of this) also simply known as the post hoc fallacy. It is, by defninition, a fallacy. This means it isn't true. But the stories keep claiming, I did Ho'oponopono chants, memory cleaning, etc. and then this happened. Therefore, it happened because I did Ho'oponopono. Not at all true.In the end, I think there can be a few useful tools in here, but the same tools and more can be found in other writings, videos, or audio books about Ho'oponopono. This audio book should be avoided.

Great stuff!
I started practicing Ho'oponopono a few weeks ago after reading Joe Vitale's great books "The Miracle" and "Zero Limits". "At Zero" has helped me gain new insights into my projections, which are often dramatized in my dreams. I am now able to surrender to life much more and to let go of negativity. As soon as something bothers me, I say the mantra over and over again, which stops negativity in its tracks. I also say it when I wake up at night and when I do something that requires little concentration. Ho'oponopono is a truly liberating technique. Thank you, Dr. Joe.

This author loves the smell of his own farts
This book has some good portions on Ho'oponopono, but beyond that 30%, the vast majority is the author jerking himself off and discussing how he sold X number of music albums, attempted to buy a multimillion dollar estate, and how good he feels when people praise him and buy his products. He chapters are completely disjointed, rambling drivel. Get Ho'oponopono by Luc Bodin instead if you actually want to learn something about helping yourself.

Zero Limits and At Zero
I accidentally found this book in the free book shelf while visiting Turks and Caicos. I walked away once... second day in leaving for home I grabbed it. I like many was skeptical but the premise is truthful. We believe in ourselves and mix that with responsibility for our world..... all of our world. We practice getting rid of all our past baggage...here it is called clearing and cleansing. There is much more... I find it’s helped me view my spiritual quest with a useful understanding.

An important follow-up to Zero Point
We recommend Zero Point, also by Vitale, to every person who comes to our classes. At Zero is an important follow-up to Zero Point. It could be read as a stand-alone, but there are so many references to Zero Point that you might miss the Point.

Excellent sequel to Zero Limits
Joe Vitale is undoubtedly a 'marmite' character as we say in England and he's unashamedly pulled a few fast ones in the past - but this is a really good book. He is definitely NOT just monopolising on the success of 'Zero Limits.'There is a lot of new information here - for instance, about Morrnah Simeona and the origins of Hooponopono. There is a transcript of an excellent interview which apparently was previously only available on one of Joe's overpriced DVDs - and a real gem too! Then there is an extensive discussion on the apparent disparity between the Law of Attraction and Hooponopono. He touched on this in the previous book, but here he confronts the issue full on by defining each one. He goes a long way towards reconciling the two. In my experience there is a place where there is absolutely no difference - the law is the same, it just depends upon who or what operates it.There are some new techniques offered and more importantly many insights which can only serve to encourage people to embrace Hooponopono. To me though the most intriguing part of the book is the one which would sometimes turn people off - his personal experiences! He describes in detail the hostile reaction he encountered from some quarters after 'Zero Limits' was published - and various personal problems he has had to deal with since. My take on all this is as follows:Joe had previously promoted: law of attraction: publishing: marketing: sales psychology etc. All this was readily communicable through books, seminars and DVDs.This had obviously not fulfilled him otherwise he would not have got involved with Hooponopono which ostensibly is counter to all that. Hooponopono IS communicable by these means: but you can't make any money out of it. Once you have the gist of it - which takes about 5 minutes - the rest is up to the individual - Andy Pritchett is testimony to this! But such is the STRENGTH of Hooponopono that if PERSISTED with it will begin to disintegrate your former self. This it seems to me is what happened to Joe.In this book he states we ultimately all have to become our own guru - the core of Hooponopono - self responsibility. But of course, this undermines HIM because he has been 'acting' the part of the guru all these years. And not only that: he has admitted to having adhered to various dodgy 'gurus' in the past - Osho; and the gifted therapist who subsequently went to jail for example. This prompts him to scrutinise rigorously Hooponopono itself: the ESSENCE of it, and the myths that have been bolted on to it. He differentiates between the ESSENCE and the 'bolt ons'- which, though not ESSENTIAL, are for the benefit of Unihipili and therefore have some use.As one progresses with Hooponopono one's insights become such that they are less and less communicable through 'words' -eg books CDs etc. Maybe that's the reason Joe has branched out into music! So this odyssey of Joe's seems to me to be the highlight of the book - and possibly why he subtitles the book 'Last WORDS on Hooponopono.' Noel Coward once said 'Television is not for watching - it's for BEING on!' Likewise Hooponopono is not for writing or reading about - it's for DOING!He reins back on the usual sales pitches so I would encourage ANYONE who is interested in Hooponopono to take a chance and buy it!

Thank you Joe.
It's funny when you get a book and it doesn't resonate with you, at the time zero limits for me. Now coming back to it through this book and seeing the second workshop on Maui it's finally brought it home for me. Like Joe's other books this one is so easy to read (almost like putting on a pair of comfortable slippers) and it couldn't put it down. I love Joe's honesty for the things he went through because of the first book, not many self help teachers would open themselves up like this. I also loved the testimonials at the back. I know there are some who didn't like the book for those reasons and his promotion of other products but this didn't annoy me in the least. Loved it.

One of the best book i ever read. I would recommend this book to everybody and it can help to boots your life, but................. first (or after if you want) read the Zero limits. Both of the books help to sort out my sad life. You have to believe, miracle happens. Is not your fault but is your responsibility. Thanks Joe for my new life
