This is a very handy set of test leads and they are well made. They will cover a wide range of uses where you need to attach a Digital Multi-meter or to connect a DC PSU to charge a battery. The leads were well priced and cover all my needs, so I recommend them.

I am rarely so pleased with a purchase as this! The main cables seem to be silicone not PVC as they're quite bendy and "rough" feeling not shiny smooth and inflexible like PVC. Average length. Obviously not really 1000v/20a rated. What's really nice about this set is that the main cables are basically just extension leads. Don't get confused like I initially did and thought I had to plug the banana plugs into that and everything else into them like a big daisy-chain mess - you can plug everything directory into the cables. The large alligator clips are pretty huge, you could practically jumpstart a car with them. The smaller ones are more my thing (hobby/DIY) but note they are nice quality, covered and not so fierce that they'd bite through any wire you attached to them - unlike your run-of-the-mill crocodile clips. The 4 nickel tips are the same size, as are the 4 gold ones; so basically you get 2 sizes. I really like the cover for them too - saves you getting your fingers burned or interfering with the readings - or bending the tips like my last pair. I don't seem to have any problem screwing them into the ABS probes. The banana plugs and spade terminals give you expansion capability - you could plug pretty much anything onto the ends of those or even use them with your bench supply or scope. The only bad thing I can report is the mini test hooks - they really are tiny/flimsy and the connection is a Dupont female and the other end goes on top of the nickel tips (barely!), this is the only part that doesn't go straight onto the main cables. They're not quite as fragile as regular test hooks you get but they do seem like an afterthought to add value/gimmick. If the test hooks were better and the price was less that £19, I'd have given it 5 stars for value; but it gets 5 stars overall.

Used for basic connection of older Tektronix equipment. Not top quality, but adequate for initial testing purposes. A good range of connectors.

Very well made good quality product with great price

The leads are NOT sheathed in silicone. They melt easily on contact with a soldering iron. They are slightly more flexible than PVC but this can be achieved by adding more plasticiser to the mix and using finely stranded copper. The length of wire is 90cm. Fine for bench work but a bit stingy for anything else. I like the variety of connectors included, and the replacement probe tips (amazing!) which include standard or gold-plated needle-tips, however some of the connectors are not compatible with the needle tips, so you’d have to switch out to the standard ones to use the DuPont/mini-grabbers. THESE wires however, are indeed silicone. They’re 38mm long with a 2mm socket on one end (plugs onto the probe tips) and a Mini-PV (DuPont) female on the other. They come with mini-grabbers that plug in here, and are so much nicer to use, being actual silicone over pvc wires, for such delicate work. Why they didn’t put a 4mm socket on instead of having to plug onto the probe tips is beyond me. Only other criticism is the probes end up being quite long once you’ve plugged the end of the lead in. That and the finger-guard is huge and gets in the way when probing small parts. If the leads were actually silicone this would be an easy 5-star product, but they’re not.

This is a well-made set of probes and leads that should cover most requirements. The set is based around a pair of extra-flexi leads that terminate with shrouded male 4mm connectors, One is straight and one is right-angled in each case. Supplied to fit are a pair of crocodile clips, and standard probes, complete with various screw-in points. All connections are shrouded 4mm. A good quality set at a good price.

After the third set of replacement leads broke I decided, after researching different sets, to purchase these. It was like getting over a migraine. I use my meter to test printed circuit boards, always having difficulty holding on to one of the leads whilst putting the other on to part of the circuit and then holding on to the circuit board or item. Whatever I have to test I can use the crocodile clips(big enough to fit on large battery terminals) large probes, small probes, insulated probes which removes the worry of high voltages, in fact this set is so well made and versatile I never have a problem. I think the main problem for people is that a lot of testers cost less than the leads so people just buy a similar cheap replacement set. Wrong decision. You turn your cheap meter into an expensive one which will last much longer and be more versatile. Enough said, they're just right for me and have my full recommendation.

Me llegó en el tiempo previsto y completo, ademas, tiene buen acabado, y viene en una caja (buena presentación), lo he usado poco pero hasta el momento hace lo que debe hacer.

Soft silikone leads and a wide selection of peripherals. Tested on Fluke, Voltcraft and Parkside. Works just as fine on all.

Kablarna och tillbehören känns som att dom är av bra kvalitet. Kablarna är mjuka. Det enda jag missade är att det är rak anslutning till mätaren med dom här kablarna och jag ska ha anslutning med 90 graders vinkel, annars måste jag ta lös kablarna varje gång mätaren ska ner i väskan igen.
