Update! Nearly 5 years later, this couch is in really good shape. There’s one extremely small tear on one of the cushions, but I’m not sure how it got there. I wouldn’t have noticed it if I hadn’t been looking for something in that exact spot. That said, literally anything could have caused it. Other than that, it’s really quite remarkable how well it has held up. I actually wash the covers yearly now. Turns out you can actually just toss them in the dryer. It’s a bit of a task but not that bad. Never stained permanently and has been great for entertaining So I bought this couch as my first grown-up, sis is living on her own, grown @$s adult furniture purchase. I'm a grad student. I moved from California to Indiana during a pandemic. I wanted to be comfortable, I wasn't willing to pick up a couch from goodwill, but I also wasn't trying to pay too much money for furniture either because God only blessed me with so much. So, to start, this couch is comfortable. Now, I'm a 6'4" big man. I'm not telling you my weight, cus that's my business, but I fit in with the cornfed Hoosiers. This couch handles me well. It's thick and firm, like a good man, but also big and plush, like my bed when his Uber arrives. The tufting holds well, and the occasional denting if seen has gone away by the next day or with some fluffing. The couch looks a bit like suede from a distance, but slight sheen of the microfiber means that the tone of the white is what you make it. What I mean by that is the lighting will change the way the couch looks. If you look closely at the pictures I posted, the couch and the dining chairs are not actually the same shade of white, so i did some trickery. In my kitchen, which is obviously attached to the living room, the light bulbs are a neutral daylight, but in the space where the couch is, I put in warmer bulbs, so that the couch and the dining chairs would match. That's the kind of flexibility you'll have with this color. It looks good with most midcentury and farmhouse items. I've paired it with sherpa, cableknit, and looseknit blankets. They all look good, with the cable knit seeming to add the best level of texture contrast. The shape isnt extremely rigid, but even when youve been sitting on it for a bit, it looks almost like it's filled with down. The cushions do need to be fluffed and straightened from time to time, though. As far as cleaning goes, this is probably the thing you'll be most worried about and I've got a story for that. So, most times, if I notice a stain, I use a pretreating spray and wipe it away. It's pretty simple. But recently I bought a satin bonnet that ran all over the couch cushions and IT WOULDN'T COME OUT. I scrubbed and scrubbed and nothing worked. Finally I became desperate and decided to take the cover off and put it in the washer. It's not a simple task. The tufting is created using a series of strings that are attached to the cover and are laced through the cushion itself and fastened on the other side by these wooden pieces. To put it back on, you'll need a threading hook. I put the cover in the washer with some color safe bleach and Persil after pretreating. I put the washer on hot and hang dried. I did this twice and the stain finally went away. Now, it might have done the trick to use a steam cleaner instead but the point is, stains don't ever seem to be a lost cause, the couch will get clean. And when you use the vaccum hose to clean it, it almost always looks brand new. It's a great couch. It's classic, modern, comfortable. The microfiber is well-made. The shipping was fast. And the cost isn't that bad either. You won't be sorry you bought it. Just take care of it.

Edited: After a couple weeks, it's actually quite comfortable. It's not what I'm used to, and it took getting used to the firmness, but the huge pillows really make up for the comfort. It's also very easy to clean. My toddler had an accident and I had to do a deep clean <sigh>. I was worried it would leave water marks, but it looks good as new! I thought I would regret this purchase but I've only grown more in love. Delivery: delivery was less than a week even though it said a month. The company that delivers called me to schedule a time and all went smoothly. I got an email telling me to write on the delivery slip that there is possible damage and to take pictures. I went to write on the slip, just in case. The delivery person said he'd just throw it away, but he said I did have 20 minutes to open and inspect. He helped me open it, since it is quite big and heavy. (He left in my driveway, as expected). Everything looked good, so I signed, and he was on his way. It did take about 20 minutes to open it all and inspect everything. Ease of putting together: Got a friend, and the two of us (females) easily got everything inside. I was able to get the feet on alone; okay, my toddler helped when I dropped pieces :) The two larger pieces have a connection already installed. It is metal and easy to get them to connect. Cushions came with Velcro coverings to keep them clean. Take off coverings and cushions easily go into place and stay. It's beautiful. The perfect light grey. Comfort: It is however, very firm. This is not medium firm. The pillows that come with, help make up for some of the uncomfortableness, but I admit I am fairly disappointed it's not softer. I imagined hours of TV and cuddling around the fireplace, but I'm not sure how long I'll be able to even sit in it, let alone sleep or cuddle. I honestly didn't even know they made couches so firm. Can't see why anyone would want it. For how much this cost, it's okay. I would give it a 3.5/5 *I am living with an individual who is high risk, so shopping in person wasn't an option. For the circumstances and the needs of having a place to sit, I don't regret this purchase. I took a risk buying online, and it could have been worse. I'm happy the color matches so well.

Just screw the legs in, then the sofa and chaise slide together via a small metal latch clip thing. Technical term. I live in an apartment and was able to, with the help of the delivery driver, get the couch and chaise over my balcony railing and onto my porch (logistically much easier than going through the front door, also the sliding door is wider than the front door for ease. Though with the lower back height of the couch, this would have been a non-issue.) The company, Stendmar, is absolutely amazing. Communication akin to that of what you might look for in a partner, whether in love or on the battlefield (though one could argue those are one in the same, I digress.) My contact, Tina, was just absolutely the most strategic and client/customer priority driven operative a lone woman, in the city, who has never ordered big-piece furniture before, let alone a sofa/chaise combo, getting it delivered to an apartment, could ask for! Any questions, comments, concerns, flung her way were handled in a manner not dissimilar to that of a certain hat-wearing, whip-toting, archaeology professor. Tina, you're invited to all the things! Weddings, cookouts, concerts, retrieval of ancient artifacts, you name it! I love the medium firmness of the couch, that will surely loosen up the longer the wear ('highest number of naps ever taken on a single couch' record in the making), and the softer, yet still firm back cushions for back support. The ottoman is amazing but will be utilizing it elsewhere until I play transformers with the couch and need a queen sized bed, because it does that. Amazing. What else?.. Fabric soft, sofa-chaise stable and firm, and loved by human and canine alike. No regrets.

Me and my Fiancé were looking for our forever couch to fit nicely against this wall. Packaging, and time of delivery was great. It came within a few weeks in secure packaging, and there are no worries if it is delivered in inclement weather. The company's customer service is good. They were helpful with scheduling the delivery by phone call, and answered the questions I had. We had to open the box in the driveway as it was the best way to bring it inside. There was no trouble bringing it through the front door with 2 people on either end. Assembly was very easy. Just screw the legs on, and place the cushions. Another upside we really like that there is a lot of room to put plenty of pillows on without sacrificing seating space, and is easy for multiple people to get cozy on. The texture almost feels like a suede and the cushions are quite firm. The color matched perfectly for this room. The height of the couch is pretty short, its nice to not have to hang over to plug in your charger, and leaves plenty of cord. The chaise is a good length me being 6ft and just my feet hang off the edge. The arms are flat, and is ok to sit a glass of wine on but id be cautious its not a solid surface. We are a little worried about staining, because it is a light cream/off white color. We have yet to experience this that but accidents happen. I cant think of any cons with the sectional other than it being pretty expensive overall, and being made in china. The legs are made with some sort of dark plastic or vinyl. We had to buy furniture sliders to go under the legs so we insure it doesnt scratch the floor. The company ships out of California so expect high delivery charges if you live on the East Coast. Overall a great sectional and I would recommend if you want to spend the extra buck in comparison to other sectionals on Amazon.

I purchased the couch after a couple of years worth of casually searching for a sectional that would fit in our living room space. I stumbled on this and was visually attracted, and the measurement fit my space exactly. With that being said, I was then concerned about the quality. I took leap of faith and purchased the item based only on 1 review. The couch was a scheduled delivery on a shipping crate that was rapped very well. This is shipped from "Stendmar" , the furniture retailer in California to your local delivery company, and then the local delivery company calls to schedule the delivery to your home. The deliver was perfect and on time but this will depend on the quality of your local delivery company that Amazon will use. The couch was everything the picture said it was. It was delivered on time and there were not defects in the construction. I was able to put everything together alone in about 3 hours. Most of the time was unpacking the item, then you will have to screw in all of the legs (this was very easy if you have an electric drill). After everything was compete, I was very pleased with the quality of the item and hope this couch will last since I have 2 twin girls that are jumping, making couch tents, and generally abusing the couch overall. Only time will tell and since this is made of microfiber, the cleanup and durability should last. The couch does come with and attachment that will connect the pieces together so they do not slide apart. There is also Velcro attached to the bottom of the cushions to prevent sliding. Overall on a scale of 0 to 10 I would rate the this Amazon couch buying experience a 8.5, the reason I did not give this a 10 was the fact of the cushions were not as thick as I was expecting, but I do feel very comfortable "chillin" on this couch since it is deep and has lots of room.

Arrived quicker than I thought it would, super easy to put together and I didn't even expect the ottoman with it but nice addition. we only use the ottoman when my husband wants to cuddle and relax with me, or looking forward to using it when company stays over since it makes it the size of a bed. Otherwise there's plenty of room for me to stretch out by myself in the corner. Bonus is the ottoman fits perfectly under our tv table. I looked for over a year for a couch that would fit my room and be sturdy and not deteriorate after a year, like all the ones I've got from big lots. This one had the look and fabric I wanted but the reviews made me buy it. So, so happy I did. I think this is the best furniture purchase I have made so far. My husband used to never sit on our old couch because it hurt his back and now he sits next to me every day and that's worth all the money in the world. Careful, it's comfy enough you will easily fall asleep 😁 also, their customer service was quick to call and set up delivery after I purchased and were very nice.

It's nice looking and somewhat comfortable. It sits very low to the ground so it isn't very comfortable for me unless I'm lying down. I'm 6'2" and it feels like I'm sitting on the floor.

So I moved into my house a year and a half ago and I’ve been roughing it with just a couple of recliner chairs. This sectional was my dream come true and I’m so happy with it. The seller and delivery carrier were great about communication after purchase. The seller calls to confirm you placed the order and to confirm your contact information. And the delivery carrier calls to set up the delivery day (you do have to work with whatever day they can bring it, but believe me it is worth taking the day off for if you have to.) I ordered mine Oct 29 with a projected delivery window of Nov 13-25 and it ended up being delivered on November 9. It comes wrapped up in bubble wrap, cardboard, and plastic and it’s all taped together very well on a wooden pallet. I know it says curbside only, but my delivery guy was kind enough to wheel it up right next to my garage door which was much appreciated as my friend who helped me move it in couldn’t come until a bit later in the day. I think we had it put together in less than an hour (maybe an hour with all the unpacking.) I do recommend leaving the layer of bubble wrap on when you move it inside, that way you protect it from any dings from door frames or tight corners. But the only real assembly is the legs once you have it inside. They are plastic, but they are a pretty hard plastic and would be easy to replace if anything crazy happened to them. It is soft and firm at the same time. I suspect it will soften some as I sit on it more, but it’s a really solid and lovely piece of furniture. I highly recommend! Good value for the price too, even with the delivery fee.
