Guascas for Colombian Ajiaco
The five star rating is for the convenience of having these dried herbs available here in the United States for use in the famous Colombian soup recipe, "ajiaco". The shipping rate is expensive, but I did get these a few days after I ordered them. Three packages make a lot of soup. You need only a couple of tablespoons for a soup that serves 6-8 persons. The herbs are packed in well-sealed bags. The dried herbs are of good quality. Finally I should add that, since they are dry and not fresh, in the preparation, I added the herbs at the end of the cooking process, right before serving, so that their delicate flavor would not be missed.
