This makes a really nice gift. Was interesting to look at.

Of course its not going to cover A-Z and have every possible piece of info tucked away in it, but overall its a great book , tons of photots. This is a great coffee table book as it always starts a conversation and these days we need more people to have access to info about guns. Overall completely happy with it!

Ordered this for my husband for his birthdayHe loves the photos and the stories. These do not usually catch his attention but he had browsed this at a store and then talked about how he should have bought it on his way home. He is 58

This book is smaller than normal DK book. It mostly introduces gun in the past, rather than modern gun. If you are looking for this, it’s a good book, but it’s not what I expect.

Arrived on time and in good shape. I had this book once before and loaned it out never to be returned. This one will stay on my writing desk and not suffer the fate of its predecessor . It is an excellent reference and covers many firearms that are not mentioned in many books. Thank You.

Slowly getting into the world of weapons, this one is a good starter. Tons of pictures and interesting information, although doesn't go into details most of the time. Beginners' book.

Nice. Has alot of older guns. Bright detailed pictures.

All the great guns from the past 700 years are here in this book. From the colt pistol of civil war fame to the notorious AK 47 assault rifle and some you have not heard of such as the first self loading pistol to the weapons used by secret agents during WW2.
