I appreciated this work because the author seemed to take extra effort to remain as objective as possible while maintaining a relatable quality to as the reader. I can't say for sure, as this is the first book I've ever read on Wicca. But it's the first book I've finished in over 10 years (due to the massive amount of reading in college and grad school totally burning me out). I think that's saying something positive about the author and quality of the writing, editing, and organization of the work. I also appreciated the appendix of further suggested reading materials as well.

This book is very simple and easy to read. The book makes Wicca very relocatable to those who are unfamiliar with the religion. However, you must be open minded to understand the Wiccan people and understand the book entirely. this one is no exception, it's a good read. this author is very informative and thorough about the Wiccan lifestyle and beliefs. Many of my friends have borrowed it and now understand me a lot better. This and Scott Cunningham's book make a great combination together when learning about Wicca.

This is an unbelievable book for any new Wiccan and it isn't uneven anyway has some senselessness. It won't tell you the best way to be a witch since one must find that in solitude, yet it is an extraordinary guide and inspiring book.
