These lights are well-made, you can tell immediately when taking them out of the box. Here are some of my favorite features: - Each LED bulb is individually encased in a soft, perfectly clear, gel-like substance, meaning they're extremely well protected from moisture - Each bulb can be changed out individually - The entire string does NOT go out when one bulb is out - BIG plus! - Each light has its own hole to help attach it wherever - The solar panel is large and seems to be of a much better quality than most - They used an 18650 battery, which is also what powers Tesla battery packs! ;] But seriously, these are good cells (haven't checked out what make yet), and are what helps power these lights for so long - The solar panel and battery unit is connected to the string via a sturdy connector that screws together (this thing isn't coming apart!) and is indexed so it's impossible to plug in the wrong way - They supply everything necessary to attach the solar panels to whatever you need, in at least 4 different ways - Attention to detail goes so far that they supply an extra screw for each method of attaching the lights, in case you lose one - nice touch, guys! - Lights are a very pleasant warm white, very much like candle light They are not super-bright, but frankly this doesn't bother me one bit. They're a nice accent without being overpowering. You'd not gonna read by these lights, but that's OK by me. I debated if I should even take off a star for this, but thought some might like to have a brighter option. But honestly, for solar lights, I'm not sure what you could do without having a super-short runtime. Speaking of runtime, they do appear to be the advertised 6 hours or so. Haven't measured it yet but based on performance so far I'd believe it. One thing to be aware of when you first get them and want to test them - as they say in the packaging, they do come with a little bit of a charge, however in order to get them to turn on, you must not only switch them on, but ALSO cover the solar panel so they think it's dark and turn on. When you do, don't be disconcerted if they take a LONG time to turn on! Like about2 minutes or so! This is of course not an issue at all when it slowly gets dark at night, but it can be confusing when you're doing your first test. Be patient! ;] All around I have to say these are amazing lights!

Nice, work well, needed them longer but a great choice

We installed the Brightech Ambience Pro Solar String Lights easily ourselves on our deck, and they’ve been up for two years now—fully exposed to salt air and sea spray every day. They still work beautifully. The warm glow is soft and inviting, and the spacing between bulbs provides just the right amount of light and ambiance. The quality and durability have far exceeded expectations, especially for solar lights in a coastal environment. Highly recommend for anyone wanting reliable, elegant outdoor lighting.

They work surprisingly well! I am generally sus about solar-powered lights. These so far have been reliable and durable. They've withstood about 3 months of outdoor exposure and they still work and look great. They are not super bright which I believe is the trade-off for them being solar-powered.

Easy to install and they work great.

I read a ton of product reviews on these and similar items before purchasing. One of the key things I found helpful was to make sure that all the bulbs are tight in the socket before installing. I would think this is intuitive to ensuring the product is waterproof, but many people were complaining about water getting in the bulbs. I tightened each one before installing as they don’t come fully tightened when delivered (which I wouldn’t expect). They have been through several rain storms and are working just fine. The product is great. They charge during the day with sunlight only, and if you have the switch on, the lights will automatically come on when it gets dark. They seem to stay on for 4-7 hours (not exact because I’m generally asleep by the time they run out of juice). The only downside I would mention is that they are not super bright, which is fine for our purposes but may not be great depending on what you’re doing with them. We have them on a balcony off of our apartment and they are perfect.

After furnishing our balcony, we needed a final touch. These worked perfectly for us. Not to dim and not too bright. They also add to the ambiance! We chose not to hang ours and instead laid them around the rocks we have. Really sets the mood. They work extremely well. I never lost a charge for the time we spend outside when using them. I can’t say exactly how long the charge will hold but for sure a few hours. Just keep in mind they are not glass and will melt/disfigure in direct sunlight or hot weather which is stated on the instructions. I made the mistake of leaving them out in direct sunlight and two bulbs became warped. They are still fully functional but just keep that in mind. Overall we are completely satisfied and will purchase again if needed.

UPDATE: After a few years, the entire string quit working. Solar panel still producing electricity. Don't think they are in series like Christmas tree lights but the entire string of lights just quit. I can see no way to troubleshoot, so the whole thing has to go in the trash. Sad. Overall I like them. Appear well made and a breeze to install. Both stake and clamp for mounting to solar panel. Clamp fit my rain gutters perfectly to provide a stable, solid mount for the solar panel. Light produced is less than I had expected. Maybe my expectations were just too bright. Mounted them to illuminate a covered porch. Really don't illuminate but do product enough light I can avoid falling off the edge. Round globes are nice, but the lights themselves are still little rectangular things. Only had them for a little while, so can't comment on durability, although they appear well made. Lest my review sounds too negative, I am considering a second string for my front porch.

Large, quality bulbs.

I thought it was quite pricey at first, but the build quality and how it still lights up after multiple rainy days, I think it’s worth the price. The length is pretty good, the wires look solid, the clips are pretty strong to hold on to my gutter. I live in an elevated suburb where it can get very windy and somehow it holds up well. I bought 4 and it lights up my backyard well for small gatherings, but supplement it with table lights if the gathering involves dinner. Longevity remains to be seen but mine seems pretty solid for a few months now.

Only good thing was that it easy to install. Definitely not waterproof, my bulbs were all flood in a month. Very poor warranty as well.

Worked well for about 2 months, then they stop lighting up... contacted the seller, more than 2 weeks ago, and still no reply!!! Frustrating
