The clever design at the back hides messy cables. It’s easy to keep sockets and cables out of sight but close at hand with the cable outlet at the back. You can mount the legs to the right or left, according to your space or preference. Drawer stops prevent the drawers from being pulled out too far. Two people can work comfortably at the desk with this long table top. Can be placed in the middle of a room because the back is finished. You can extend your work surface by combining desks and drawer units. All desks and drawer units in the MICKE series are the same height. Be sure to follow the instructions in the manual for charging electronic equipment. We recommend that you switch off the power supply when leaving electronic equipment unattended for a longer period.

It's easy if you just follow the instructions
Look at the document. It's one of the best visual instruction set without even using a single word.I got 2 of these tables, so I exchanged the legs/stands between them to make one table with both framed legs & another with both wooden/ply legs. And unless you've done anything like this before, I can't explain to you how flexible it was for me to make that customisation. Their design+planning on making assembly easy (for even a layman without woodwork knowledge) is simply insane.BTW, don't lose the screws. There aren't any extra screws. So if you lose one, you'll have to find something that fits from local hardware store & it won't be easy.

Neat and minimalistic
The product looks really neat.Building it is not that easy, so please consider that before buying. It will take time and and effort to build it to perfection.It is not that sturdy, but for office use its fine. Please don't buy it for heavy use.

Elegant!
Additional (thin) bubble wrapping by seller but arrived without transit damage - seller could have double boxed instead. Took an hour and a half to assemble. Nice!

Poor user experience
Horrible product, bad quality wood used and apparently has cardboard stuffed inside the table top. Installation is a pain with over 100 screws of different sizes. Thumbs down ikea from a first time user and probably the last ikea order from my side.

We like the desk
We like the desk. It was just what we were looking for, but came damaged...two of the corners were broken. The broken corners are not terrible, but it's a shame, since it is new. Other people had mentioned the same problem in their reviews, so it makes me wonder if it happened before shipping. We are keeping it, since it is just the right size for what we need.

Struggle to put together
Pain in the but to put together, but honestly worth the effort. Instructions are hard to understand, I am sure they could be more simple. It would have been a lot easier to put together if the parts were labeled. The desk is sturdy, and great for a double monitor setup with 21.5 inch ASUS monitors. You have enough room to fit a console as well as plenty of room for keyboard, mouse-pad, and keypad if you use one.

For a Vanity
I am in love with this desk. I am going to use it as a vanity. After reading the reviews some stated it was hard to build and it took them the whole day/or if they started at night they finish in the AM. I can't say the same you just have to follow the instructions and they are easy to follow, It took me 2 hours. I got lucky and my package arrived in great shape and nothing was broken. I would recommend it.

This desk isn't large. From other reviews seemed ok for an office but it's relatively small. I would recommend measuring your space prior to purchasing this item to make sure it's not swallowed up in the room. It is as pictured.
