Insect Detective: Read and Wonder

Purchased to use with our homeschool literature curriculum as a used book to save money. Book arrived quickly and is in excellent condition - wouldn't know it was used!

No bends or rips.

I adore this book. We actually read it in our pediatricians office and I found it to buy that night.My daughter has been afraid of bugs in the warmer months but learning more about them in this way I think will help her this summer.

Purchased this book to use for a mentor text writing activity with my first graders. This is a nonfiction book but looks very fiction like. It’s great for comparisons and for discussing text features in a different way.

This is another great Read and Wonder publication. Insect Detective has soft illustrations that complement the text. I have added it to my classroom library.

We loved this book, it taught my daughter to identify that a leaf miner was eating leaves on a tree in our yard. We will be buying more from this series.

Great book! My Kinders loved it!!

I purchased this item for my 7 year old great niece who was coming for a visit. When it arrived I could not believe how delicate and beautiful the illustrations were. My great niece loved it and from the way she looked after it, it was obvious that she thought it was special. I certainly thought so. Pictures apart, the information lay out was great and well written. all in all, a real winner.

Lovely illustrated book really enjoyed by our eight years old grandaughter. When a little younger she found it fascinating searching the garden for different insects, turning over small boulders and looking underneath thick logs. Would definitely recommend this book.

bought this lovely little book for my grandaughter to make insects less scary and more interesting,its beautifully written and the illustrations are fab,I highly recomend this book and seller.

Really like this and the guide to Wild Flowers and Trees too - great bits of information and lovely illustrations.
