Enjoyable Mystery
So I read this book with my church Women’s Ministry. It was truly a treat to read a non-paranormal book and enjoy it. Anyone that knows me knows mysteries/thrillers have to grab my attention from the beginning. Lynette Eason did a wonderful job in keeping the reading engaged. That was the strongest point in this story. The story was always moving and every engulfing for chapter one. Summer and Kyle/David were never safe despite Kyle/David’s 360 in life. The faith angle was not too much or placed in a cheesy manner. The author shows you in the story that their safety and success is getting out of danger in solely dependent on God. Without giving too much anyway, there is no way but with the Lord; that is the message for me throughout the story and I liked that. The character development of Summer and Kyle/David is very interesting and at sometimes frustrating. Summer struggles with forgiveness and acceptance the entire story and it makes the reader feel bogged down. Reading though her emotions at times makes me what to pull Summer out shake her. Kyle/David works through his regret for his actions pretty well, but his continued deceptions make the reader what to jump in the pages and punish the husband. But then given the themes of forgiveness and redemption slow you down and make you; the reader, prayer for forgiveness.Overall I truly enjoyed the book. The story is compelling, interesting, and overall a great mystery ride. I have already order book two. Great job Lynette Eason.

Trust Me, It's a Great Book!
I've been a fan of Lynette Eason for a while, but No One to Trust is her best book so far. The action starts on the first page and doesn't let up until the very end. Even in suspense books, there's usually a spot in the book where I can put it down to do other things...like sleep, but not in this one. I had to stay up until 3 a.m. to finish. When Summer is accosted in her own home by men searching for her husband, she's thrown into a tailspin of lies, cover-ups, and the mob. Summer has to decide if her husband, who is not who he said he was, can be trusted with keeping her safe from the men who will stop at nothing to get what they want.Summer's journey to justice and truth is a tangled one where the lines get blurred and the truth is hard to find, and it is fantastic. The twists and turns are continuous, some are expected and others caught me by surprise. Some books have so much action that the character development suffers, but Eason balances Summer and her husband Kyle's relationship with God and each other with the action with ease.Lynette Eason is off to another winning series with this first book. Fans of Christian romantic suspense don't want to miss this one!

What would you do?
If you’re looking for gripping suspense and an adrenaline pumping thrill ride, this book is for you!! Right from the start this one grabbed hold and wouldn’t let go. What would you do if you found out your husband wasn’t who he said he was? I love the thread of forgiveness that runs through this book as Summer struggles with the pull of love and faith against her feelings of betrayal. She isn’t perfect, and neither is her husband. Thats what makes them relatable, as they go through the same things we do, but in much more terrifying circumstances. As they run for their life, will their trials bind them together or tear them apart? I loved this book. Another winner!

Don't miss the beginning of this new series
Summer Abernathy is rudely awakened by a man with a gun looking for her husband who he tells her is not who she thinks he is. She doesn't want to believe the man because Kyle promised he'd never lie to her...... However, Kyle is really David Hackett who is in witness protection until he can testify against his former best friend and business partner. Kyle/David saw him murder a man. He has also been working as an informant to the FBI concerning some shady business practices he had discovered his partner involved in.Summer is forced to go with David and his US marshal handler to protect herself. The book is the story of Summer and David's journey through guilt, anger, betrayal, distrust, and finally forgiveness and reconciliation. All those heavy emotions are played out against a background of running from some serious bad guys. You will root for Summer and David to make it though all that is happening to them so they can work on their future together. Lynette doesn't disappoint--this book is packed full and will pull you in before the end of chapter one.

Authentic Characters - Exciting Plot
What an well-crafted story. I'm truly in awe of Lynette Eason's talent! This plot never let me go.The heroine, Summer, as an attorney focused on helping battered women and their children, is a NURTURER. She has the type of personality who will insists on helping and has trouble being out of the loop. Her husband is a WARRIOR, loyal and used to being in motion for a good cause. Yet he has been forced into a benign life. Well, until page 1!While the two mains dealt with active character arcs, Eason didn't leave out a grand supporting cast, some of them with personal growth as well. I have to say my favorite character was the antagonist. So evil, and yet had such a tenderness toward his pets. The man truly doted on them, and he needed them to keep him calm. Really, it was creepy, but made the character so layered. The plot blended perfectly. Not only with the hero and heroine, but the six or so other contributing characters that made the story work. Complicated, yet not contrived. With the perfect balance of reason and logic to make the novel flow with authenticity.

I was so freaked out by the description of the snakes that I felt like I could see them around me
Should come with the warning label - Snakes involved. I was so freaked out by the description of the snakes that I felt like I could see them around me. Great descriptions by the author but bad for this reader that's terrified of snakes. However I was so hooked on the story by the time they were introduced, I couldn't put the book down, and thankfully there were many scenes that did not involve them. Story was suspense filled the whole way through from the first chapter to the last, every time they thought they were ahead a curve ball was thrown. The fact that Summer and David were already married and then Summer's whole view of David changes once she learns his story really drew me in. I really liked both characters and was cheering for them to not only get through this situation but for Summer to be able to trust David again. I loved her determination and how David showed he cared for her in the little things he did even while they were running for their lives. I was also drawn to the characters of Adam and Chase, and really hoped that they didn't turn out to be some of the bad guys. I really enjoyed the ending. I now look forward to reading the next and hope my favourite characters are a part of the next story.
