Holster seems to hold tight, easy to remove gun. Have not noticed any scuffs on the gun from using it.

I have had this holster for a little over a year now. It fits great and functions great. The passive retention is amazing... For awhile. I have recently started to notice that it doesn't secure the gun as well as it used to. Even tightened all the way down, I can draw with minimal force. When it was new and the tension properly set, you could easily draw the weapon as long as you pulled straight up with a decent pull. It was almost impossible to remove the weapon at an angle, like it someone were to try to take it from you. Now it is easily drawn regardless of angle. That being said, for a sub $50 holster, a year of solid use is acceptable to me and I intend to replace it with the same one.

I really like this holster. It is very comfortable to wear, easy to attach and remove, which comes in handy when you are forced to remove your weapon before going in such places as the courthouse, revenue office, etc... Which I find I have to do far too often and made my old holster inconvenient having to unfasten my belt and slide it off then redo the loops and buckle only to have to do the process again once outside putting it back on. The retention is great on this holster, however this is why I give 4.5 and not full 5 stars. The adjustment screw for retention on my holster loosened on its own for some reason and I had to tighten it again, it hasn't happened again yet but just be aware to keep a check on the retention the first week or so

Adjustable tension screws allow you to customize how tight the holster holds your pistol. I marked it down 1 star because it states that it fits the compact model SR9C, but it is about an inch longer than the barrel. which makes it slightly harder to conceal.

I have an SR9 and it fits well but when the description says ADJUSTABLE.... the angle is not! My Fobus paddle holster for my 9mm is adjustable in retention screw as well as angle. This works for the SR9 but could be a lot better.

Works great for my Ruger SR .40 fullsize. Holds it snug and is comfortable to wear. It’s designed very good and virtually a zero chance of the holster shifting or coming out of your waistband.

Hard to find things for SR40/c … gotta settle for what works!
