Surprisingly this actually worked well, it didn't make drinks super hot or super cold but it certainly changed the temp a bit and was more than adequate in keeping the current temp. The packaging left a lot to be desired if you intend to give it as a gift like I did, it's two boxes taped together.We ended up needing to return it though. We tested it in the house with the plug to make sure it was functional but when he went to put it in his work truck the plug drew too much power. It seems if you intend to use this for the car you must be able to have a dedicated lighter outlet for it, the plug is for home use only. The plug was the selling point for me because that's the only way he can use it. If you plan on using the lighter hookup and not having anything else plugged in or charging while this is on then I think it'd work out well.

In extreme temperatures it had a difficult time keeping up. Also it was to top heavy with filled drinks. It frequently tipped over while driving.

Cools my energy drink very slowly because the small can doesn't touch the sides of the can.It does keep the drink cold on a long trip.

Can't set how warm or cold you want it. Cold is freezing cold. Wanted to use it to keep cat food chilled while traveling but it's to cold.

It works with something very thing, a bottle of water would not either heat up or get cold but the liquid into a plastic bag would.

Didn't work when I opened it.
