Good replacement for my B&S engine
The friction plate broke on the engine and the company recommended replacing the pawls at the same time. This kit contains all that you would need. The original didn't have the springs so I didn't use them. I do see where another reviewer used them to help push them out and if I have to replace them again I will try that as well. Works just fine, engine starts first pull.

Fit Was Perfect
This came with everything I needed to fix my recoil starter. I had ordered a couple pawls elsewhere thinking I could save a little cash, but then I saw this kit for almost the same price and canceled the other order. This came with the two pawls the pawl springs (which I didn't realize I needed since the old ones got lost on my bench), the retainer and tension spring, and the bolt. Fit great and the parts were sturdy enough to handle the heavy flywheel on the chipper.

Fits perfectly
The items were a right fit for my Mclain lawnmower. Came at the right time to get my lawn cut, I gave it a 4 star cause not sure how long it will last before it break due to the plastics.

Quality is bad
Broke after 3rd pull.

you get what you pay for. but works
Did not last as long as I thought it would. the plastic must have been a bit weaker than the OEM. But it worked and had my mower running for a couple times with no issues. but the plastic wings or the center disk holding the wings just did not hold up as well. on my second one which is holding better. not sure if I can get better from anyone.

So far so good!
The media could not be loaded. Was easy to install and works like a charm so far! Mowed the yard with no issues but I can't tell you much about durability since I've only just installed it. Will update if it fails in the near future.
