I bought this bag because I have picked up on my traveling and wanted to get every last inch from that plane that is allowable since all these airlines have to rip all of us off. I did my research to maximize the size of the bag to be in compliance. I saw this bag and a few others. I was going back and fourth between several bags. This one had an advantage of having the charger attached to the back so the battery can remain inside the bag along with a few others that I was looking at. Ok now to the nitty gritty of what you are looking for. This is based on my most recent trip to Cin, OH for a concert on 5/24/2025.Durability: This bag passed with flying colors. When you first pull it out of the packaging, it feels like a regular bagpack you buy at Walmart. Once upon taking a closer look, you can feel and see the great quality in the materials and manufacturing.Size: Size was great. It met all the size specs of the dumb airline rules. They try to make money off of us any way they can so size is very important to have a personal item with you without getting charged for it.Versatility: Well this one is up in the air still. Maybe my trip to Mexico next week might shed better light. It is definitely a bag you can use for the plane but can also use for local trips like hiking or camping. The downfall of this is the straps. The straps could have been a bit more comfy but overall good. The one thing this bag is missing and to me is very important, especially when carrying a bag around all day, is the lower center strap that helps support around your stomach/back area. Pocket area on this bag is crazy. I thought it would have a couple a spots for different items. This has pockets galore. You can find a pocket for just about anything you wan or need (legally of course).Money, money, money.... The value for this bag can not be unbeat. I guess let me explain a bit why I say that. When comparing different bags with similar options and reviews several did stand out. This one made it to my top 3. Bouncing back and fourth all over the place I went back to this bag. Low and behold, ON SALE 50% off.PFT......... Sold!

I am very pleased with this travel backpack. It can not only hold an average size laptop, but enough clothes for several days. The quality is nice for the price. It has a charging port but I didn't use it because airlines don't like for you to use the charging block.The color is a nice grey/black blend which won't show dirt and is very professional looking. The material is very sturdy and durable.I sometimes fly on an airline that charges extra for a carry-on bag and/or checked bag, but allows a backpack of certain dimensions. This backpack fits within those dimensions. I used to borrow my daughter's regular backpack but then I decided it was time for me to buy my own. This is when I discovered that they now make backpacks like a suitcase. I love all the separate pockets and sections! What I really like is that one large compartment unzips and opens completely 180 degrees, which makes packing and accessing your items much easier than a regular bookbag type of backpack.The zippers are a nice quality, sturdy, and easy to grab. The padded straps make it comfortable to carry through the airport.Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend it.

My old backpack was on its last legs so I knew that I needed to buy a new one. Considering I take my laptop with me to work, I felt like I needed a laptop backpack as a replacement. There was more pockets to put the other things that my old pack contained allowing for better organization and more space. Although I didn't need it, having a charger built in was a nice touch indeed. And my laptop fit in just fine over in the back. Now, you'll probably need to leave the zipper on the bottom as opposed to the top to avoid the back flap falling and dropping its contents on the floor. But it's comfy and has plenty of room for my stuff. That makes it a win!

Love the color and size of this backpack. Lots of convenient pockets, spacious but doesn't look too big. Unfortunately the zippers on the larger compartments do not stay zipped very well. This is a good backpack for transporting minimal items from your house to your office. I don't recommend it for flights or if you're packing it decently full.

This bag is very well made. I don't leave a ton of reviews good or bad but I felt this bag really deserved a good review and 5 stars. It's strong and it has so many compartments. I bought it to use as a work bag but it was so nice I bought the bigger size for someone to use as a travel bag. What I will say is based on appearance the 18.5" doesn't look that much bigger than the 17" I bought but apparently it holds a ton inside. Either way I'm very happy with my purchase. Hopefully it holds up over time.

Bought this to use as my “personal” bag for a trip to Portugal. It is the perfect backpack for traveling. It has a place for a laptop but if you’re not bringing one, that area can hold a couple days of clothes wrinkle-free. It has so many pockets I tend to forget where I put things. Looks like a normal size backpack but it holds A LOT of stuff! It has a very classic look with sturdy straps.

This backpack is a terrific value. I'm replacing a much more expensive Swiss Gear backpack because it's too heavy even when empty. This version has nice water-resistant fabric and looks very professional. There are no odors and it weighs less than 2 pounds. With this pack, I'm able to duplicate the various organizational pockets I had in my previous pack plus added features like a security in the back, a build-in charging cable, and a strap to attach it to a roller bag.

My daughter carries waaay too much in her backpack, but she is not provided a locker and has to carry everything with her. This backpack has held up with all of the weight and constant opening and closing. Well worth the money.
