Size runs small. I was recovering from hip replacement surgery and only had the one pair provided by the hospital. Ordered these in the same size as those provided by the hospital so the other pair could be washed. Keeping in mind I am a very large man (6'8' 340 lbs size 15W shoe) they were very tight on me. Near the ankle my circulation was being cut off so my wife had to cut them to relieve the pressure. Wore them twice then threw them away. For the price they are basically disposable.

They worked fine. I could have ordered just a long but the extra long worked fine. i used them after hip replacement surgery.
